Been seeing things in my head when I leave the house by myself. Pretty much everywhere I go, I picture stepmother showing up and attacking me. I see myself trying to fight back and end of hurt her everytime it seems. the things i do are scary in the sights i see, but seeing her in my head trying to hurt me is very upsetting and i think i have panic attacks kinda.

T says maybe flashbacks.....??

It certainly is possible that you are having flashbacks. It is a significant symptom; significant enough to be placed in the DSM.

Did your T offer any advice about them?

I recognize those sorts of thoughts and images; I had a stepmother who could get angry whenever I tried to do something for myself, my own way. Does yours get angry if you want something different from what she wants for you?
