I am trying to remember that my therapist has a life that does not revolve around me. I have emailed her several times since yesterday and she hasn't responded to any of them. She has told me in the past that she doesn't check her computer much on the weekends and that she mainly knows that I have emailed her by the fact that her husband says you have email. I keep trying to stay focused that my life is not affected by the fact that she hasn't emailed me back but I've emailed her some heavy stuff.

(((jbug))) I'm glad that you did email the "heavy stuff" to your T. Just knowing that she will eventually know and you won't have to actually say all that to her face right off must be a relief! You did it!
![]() Now, try and rest on the fact that she will read it at her best time, when she is able to give it attention, and not just as a matter of fact or because she's pressured to. When do you have another session with her, is it soon?

I read a line that I liked and which stayed with me:
My therapy should be the most important thing in my life but it is not the most important thing in my therapist's life.
