Feeling Low..

Yeah I'm a T who is feeling low right now.

Anyone who wants to get on their high horse about ethics and such can climb down. I'm on holiday at the moment and could do with some support!

So sorry! T's need breaks too, so I sure hope you can get some enjoyment from your holiday. Sucks that you would feel bad at one of the few times you're away from others' problems!

I guess I'm a bit of a workaholic, no structure at the moment, going to be hitting the big 40 at the end of this week! I'm expecting a yucky phone call around that time, I know what to do about that but still I'm not looking forward to it.

I am also a workaholic and when I have free time, I don't know what to do with myself, I feel like I always have to be doing something.
I think for me I have to learn to relax and enjoy just being .....not so easy to say the least.

I think all of humanity shares in our suffering - even Ts! I'm curious if it is hard for you to reach out for help because of your profession? Knowing the answers and needing support are two very different things, IMO. We all need support.

I think humor is a great tool for all healers to use. Your lecture sounds interesting but try feeding your mind with smiles too. I recommend old episodes of Home Improvement. Wilson is my favorite arm-chair therapist.

Yes we do all need support, I have supervision/therapy on a regular basis with the best T in the world!

I have grown muchly while I have been at Psych Central and get a lot of support from friends here too.
