this week there was a new kid at my school. he has moved a few times so i was nice to him. i was one of the only people sticking out my hand and trying to be friendly. well now people like him and hes getting semi popular. (btw im the "class outcast", depression and stuff made me really awkward). but now he ims me and night and says we can't be friends publicly because he doesn't want it to hurt his reputation..... and i told him off and severed all ties and he's guilting me because we have a group project due in a month that i now want to do by myself. i don't want to work with him at all, but he's really guilting me hard.

I think you have done the right thing. He doesn't deserve your friendship, you are a better person than he will ever be!

Let the guilt lay on his plate and walk away.... he does not deserve you as a friend so please do not let him take advantage of your once unconditional heart toward him.
I was very popular all through out school and I never let it go to me head... I was friends with any one and every one that was nice in return and it never mattered to me what group that hung in, how they looked or if they were up to ever one else's standards... if one of my friends didnt like it they could keep on walking.

In my book (and after what he has done) an apology means nothing with out action - ask him to sit with you at lunch tomorrow during school and see what he says / does... give him three tries and see if he makes a home run or strikes out.

I don't know if I would accept his apology. That was very wrong of him to do you that way. You were there for him and he did you wrong. You a very caring person and you deserve a lot better! Good luck with whatever decision you make. I'm here for you either way! Hugs!
