i'm learning that there are times in a "relationship" that enough isn't enough. there is no enough.
 listening, responding and caring can't always fill a void that someone else has. it gets to be too "labor intensive"  and stepping away is the wisest thing that you can do. sadly, i'm not sad. i'm relieved. i am exhausted and think i'll just lavish my pets with treats and get myself a massage and the new John M????? Trio CD..............love ya women, pat (and some men)

I heard this the other day and it stuck with me.
"An even exchange of energy." That's my new check list with people. There has to be an even exchange of energy. Especially when you're talking about support. |
