Hey Rio,
Do you ever get really really angry? Just asking cause anger is an interesting emotion. When used in the right way directed at the right place, it can become a really good motivator. It can spring us into action. But when it's misplaced it becomes a weapon against ourselves. And all I am thinking is that you must have some anger somewhere. That maybe if you do, you could reign it in and use it to help yourself. Make any sense? Glad to hear you may return to therapy. ![]() ![]() ![]() I wish you the best Rio, with everything. |

Sometimes I do..But strangely enough it's all outward..I think anything that was once akin to anger at myself has turned into disgust.
Yeah it does but I dont really want to do it through them, well they have counselling but not therapy. |

Well Rio, I do hope you try to seek therapy. Your still so young yet and you CAN take advantage of the fact that your brain is very capable of learning HOW to OVERCOME this pattern of thinking where your sense of self worth is so low. As Anika suggests, you can learn to think better of yourself no matter what you have experienced in your past. As I mentioned the way that you present yourself here says that your not stupid. You just have to spend time working on yourself esteem, know that your worth it and develope better skills. Therapy can help you do that, its worth the effort and the time if you find a therapist you can connect with.
You can come and talk all you want in PC, there are very nice members here that will support you anyway they can. We all have things we have been through and battles we too have fought. This is a friendly site and maybe you can talk to others that have bipolar and see what kind of therapy has helped them. Open Eyes |
