One minute he's sweet,the next he is...mean,uncaring,rude,self centered,hateful.Shows no love,affection,interest,emphathy.Cold and distant stranger.We've been together 6 years,married 3.This isn't the same person,who is this evil person.???
Sometimes I see Him{the man he was} for a short time, usally after his self medication. Then he'll talk about the problem, discuss things, and show sincere interest in finding some help.A doctor has diagnosed part of it as bipolar, but he has no kind of medication at the moment. The rest of the time he's this evil side.We are always fighting now,and I am considering divorse. But I still love him very much, and will try anything to get him help{me too}Do I catch him in the good mood and try to get him help??What Do I Do??Can I help him????????

I am struggling with the same and don't know how to help him. I will keep you posted if any insight happens. . . let's hang in there. I know it's heartbreaking, I really love my husband and don't want our marraige to end. There has to be something we can do!

Some considerations: if ages are young, do consider schizophrenia... if older, other physical problems... chemical changes... HE needs to get a physical! Or, maybe he's unhappy... trying to find fulfillment out side of the marriage... or frustrated in his job.... but most of all, make sure you stay safe... take care of yourself first.
