Ive been in a wonderful relationship with a guy for about half a year and hes amazing...but my mind rattles with confusion when i fall into this pit of mania, or depression. I fell angry and irritated at myself, and i know that he would understand...but he thinks i'm so wonderful and i feel dead on the inside, i think that he deserves more than me, i feel like i will bring him down. I'm new to this, first relationship, first time for feeling this ******, first time for my life to be falling through into nothing. I feel like i shoud fall asleep and wake up ad hell have forgotten about me, i think what i want to know is how do i keep this relationship without feeling guilty for my moods.

Do you take medication for your problem? Do you see a therapist or psychiatrist? It may be that a change in your medication could be needed or maybe you may need a medication to stabilize your moods, it is just a thought. Explain to your boyfriend exactly what you feel, this may help him to help you which in turn will help your relationship. Welcome to the forum, you'll find a lot great people here that are very helpful and are just downright nice to chat with. Keep in touch

Quite frankly you should talk to him.
men, well we do care and think.if you let him know your opening up a channel of communication rather than not daring to.

Having mood swings or mood disorders are nothing to be ashamed of if that's the case. If you are having bigtime problems with your moods like I think you are saying you might want to see a psychiatrist or a therapist of some kind so that you can get some relief and not feel so distressed. Also, you might want to talk to your boyfriend about how you feel, too. I know and many others here, too, know how hard it is to go through mood swings and you are understood and not alone.
