You don't have to fair, there is no requirement that you be fair after you are hurt and you are justified in being angry. It is true that you did not see what was going on, but it was not necessarily your fault. She may not have been faking it, but may have been unsure what she felt or afraid of change or insecure. You are right though, communication is key. I hope your good days become more and more frequent.
