On the edge

Just needed a lil objective advice. My husband (current unemployed) just had to get his 2 sons as their mother decided she didn't want them anymore. I am already supporting the family and feel that having 2 more mouths to feed is completely overwhelming. We were just recently relocated and are paying a mortgage on top of rent until the old house sells. I have suggested that maybe he return to our home town until we can figure this out but I feel like I am abandoning him. not sure what to do

Hi Wannalyn - Sounds like you're feeling overloaded at the thought of having more expenses and responsibilities associated with having additional young people move into your home, at a time when your own financial situation is uncertain. Does he have somewhere to stay if he does move back to the home town? Are there more options to consider? What are his employment prospects either in the home town, or in your current location? Why do you think of this as "abandoning" him? What does he think? How old are the 2 sons?
