Honestly not really. Just during a greeting with family. I honestly cringe to give hugs now. Although, I find less anxiety occupies hugging my 5 year old daughter.

I use to crave human touch which could also make sense of my relationships growing up.

I was hugged as a child, not overly so.
And I was a warm, huggy person, until this collapse of my being.

I was hugged and kissed plenty with probably an equal amount of spanking and slaps. I'm a very huggy mom.

Huge from both and often. But the verbal abuse made it a bi-polar relationship. I would get yelled and grounded for not washing a dish as soon I was done using it and then my mom would let me out of my room at night and say "You know I love you" and kiss my cheek. Then an hour later she could be screaming at about not brushing my teeth at the time she felt I needed to.
