I have been married for 15 years now and my husband has been depressed on and off for more of that time. He is on medication, but has refused any counseling or any therapy. It has really impacted our relationship, I am sure a lot of people have been there.

We also have at least one kid with Aspergers syndrome, some more suspected. Let's say life is never boring around here.

I always thought the relationship itself was fine and it was worth it, but i am starting to doubt things more and more

I started a blog to help myself talk through things and document things.

Not sure what I am asking, maybe I want to know how other people decide whether to stay in a relationship or not? There are so many reasons to stay, but it feels like more and more reasons to leave.

How do you even make a decision like that?

I am sorry that YOU are going thru all these feelings and worse yet, with someone that you care very much for as a person.....

I would have to say that only you can decide if this marriage is worth staying in (or not).... you will have to try and answer this question for your self - as best as you:
Is staying with my husband better or worse for me in the long run?

Hope you find an easy way thru this matter.... and please keep on talking about your feelings with us here at PC and then maybe you will see the answer as you talk and read.

Thanks , that 's a good question to ask.

This has been a journey of ups and downs, and lately it feels like there are too many downs and a lack of ups.

A crystal ball would be nice.

I guess I will be pondering for a while ^^
