in 1996 i was in a abusive relationship.Since then i have not dated much.I have liked a few guys. But they have all been jerks.Plus i get hit on by guys from East St.Louis and that is the Ghetto and i'm grossed out by guys from there.I go out to baseball games and concerts and have not meet many guys that i like. Then i can't get this one guy i use to be friends with out of my mind.Even though he was one of the guys i liked. That ended up being a jerk. At times i feel really lonely and ugly. I'm 36 and feel lonelier the more time go's by. Some say i should attend church. But i have issues with orginized religion. What should i do?

There are so many opportunities to meet guys these days. How about joining a club or volunteering at a place that expresses at least one of your interests? You might meet someone there.

There's online dating and personal ads. And there are even specialized dating sites, like AnimalAttraction.com for pet lovers, SportsFansMatch.com, and NerdPassions.com for geeky types! Feel like a loser

I'm not fond of net dating.I have seen a few married men i know on net dating. They claim they never been married.I'd rather meet a guy IRL.

UCLA Fan,

OK, so you've heard it. Have you tried it?

Have you tried a new church recently?

I said i'm not into church. I find a lot of church people to be fake.Plus i think going to church to meet people is wrong.
