If you are afraid of being alone, you have no options. You cannot make the decision that is best for you. If you are too afraid to be alone, I do not see how you can avoid getting stuck in a negative relationship.

I have always been alone. I am not sure what people mean when they say they are afraid of being alone. But surely being alone with the perspective of a good healthy relationship is better than being stuck in a toxic one.

I'm not trying to be contrary, but OP...what are you looking to gain from this thread at this point? We have all told you that this man is abusing you. He is whittling away at your self-esteem. I understand the fear of being alone, and wanting someone to belong to, etc etc. But trust me when I say that choosing someone who debases you is not better than choosing to live a life alone, without being made to feel badly about yourself. Are you looking for validation for his behavior? It isn't going to happen here...no one is going to validate the actions of an abusive person.

I understand you are hurting and you feel like he is right in some aspects and you are wrong. But he is not correct in the way he is treating you, period. End of sentence. There has to be something inside of you that wants to be treated better, that knows you deserve better than what you are getting right now. This is not what love looks like.

I think he has empathy issues. I keep facing these guys on every single other relationship forum. These guys can be really bright otherwise but on sexual level they're like medieval. Like I used to be like this when I was 18 or 19? These guys are like medieval knights. The *****-callers! Always calling out ladies as *****s without realizing that don't hate player hate the game.

Think it's some kind of neurosis or OCD
