I am still missing my husband desperately. We are getting the divorce and I'm to the point where I am numb. I don't cry as much, but I'm still very sad.
I have actually been on a few dates over the past week and met a very nice guy who seems to really like me just as much as I like him. We chat a couple times a day and he is very sweet, but I always end up going right back to thinking about my husband. I spoke to him yesterday and he sounded so depressed. I wanted to tell him to come to me, but I knew it would be a waste of my breath. I still can't believe this is happening.

I think it is going to take some time before you feel better since your husband was so important to you.

This is always a hard time to go through. I'm sorry for your loss....that's exactly what it is isn't it, a loss in your life?? No matter how things were in your marriage, when it's disolved, it is a loss. I do so hope it gets easier for you soon. Remember to take care of you and allow those feelings of loss to play out. Time does heal wounds and makes things easier down the road. Wishing you well! ![]() sabby |
