Sis Tomi,
It is so awesome that things went so well for you even though it was a sad time. Sometimes sad things can bring people closer together.

Sweety, the good outweighed the bad for sure!

Oh! Oh! Oh! Something I forgot to include!! There is no love lost between my SIL and I, but I felt I needed to do something for my FIL, who didn't like me, either, come to find out. LOL So what I did was make a slide show of my FIL's life and sent it down with hubby. When his sister saw it, she said she owed me a "great" debt of gratitude and was feeling guilty for having said she didn't want me at the memorial. Soooo... maybe I've redeemed myself for whatever it was I did... or not. Doesn't really matter because I don't want to ever be in the position of being in the same room with her. It just makes me feel good that some hard work on my part gave them all (hubby's family)a different perspective of me. I really enjoyed doing it. Communication problems with my kids

That is really awesome of you to do!! I do not think that you could have done a nicer gesture for a situation that you were being pushed away from.
