Could you please pray for me, she asks humbly.

Lately I have have been struggling with many things, spirituality being one of them and am feeling a little lost. I've been keeping up my positivity and trying to feed my soul as much as I can, with a smidgen of fake it till you make thrown in for good measure. But in the end it is not keeping my bipolar at bay.

I have been stable for just over 2 months. I had a lengthy severe manic episode lasting five or so months prior to that. It was a very scary place, I felt my mind was gone and not coming back. Now I find myself slipping to depression despite taking all measures. And I am scared. I don't know how much energy I have left. I don't know how much mind I have left. I don't know if I can continue to pick up the peices every time. I just don't know if I have what it takes. I feel very fragile and the thought of these cycles continuing forever is sometimes just too much to bear.

I think I just need more time to recover this time before being thrown back in.

You have my prayers too, Anika. Have you met your guardian angels yet? Mine work a lot of overtime. I truly believe everyone has them available but most ignore them. What a waste.

I also believe that really wanting to believe results in belief. Maybe it's the same as "Fake it till you make it." Whatever works.

I hear you when you say you're scared that you won't always be able to put the pieces together. I worry about that too. I don't even know what to pray for where that's concerned--except that somehow there will be an answer.

One thing I know absolutely: Coming to faith is less difficult when one can stay in the present. Somehow god doesn't seem to exist in quite the same way in the past or future. In the present, god IS.

You will have extra prayers.

I heard a woman say once "you are the angel you've been waiting for."
So take care of yourself and let God help you.
Thanks for this!

(((((Anika)))))

I am so sorry to hear your struggling. Your such an active positive member here at PC.
I don't really know about what it is to have a manic state and what that means. But I do know how I feel with my PTSD where I seem to find some clarity and then I tumble and struggle and it truely is upsetting and like you I wonder if I am going to recover and stay strong. I just keep praying myself and I also read everything I can about what I have to try to understand it.

I hope your seeing a therapist that you can talk to about this.

I will definitely pray for you sweetheart, I know your trying, I think we all are and it can be scary, have faith in yourself, continue to take it one day at a time. Fake it till you make it? well I don't think it is all faking, I think it is our will and making a conscious effort to heal, I never underestimate the healing capacities of the brain.

Wow, thank you, thank you, thank you. I didn't expect so many warm responses. Thank you for your prayers.

I'm feeling slightly better. Having so many people sending you powerful thoughts indeed has to help. I'm having many issues with chronic pain which surely is a culprit here. But I Will get through this.

Sending you all prayers back. Who could not use some extra support? Again thank you so much, I find much comfort in the support I get here, and it makes me determined to get through this darkest season.

Sincerely appreciated,
Anika

On that note, I have heard from my spiritual mentor; the Beneficent one sometimes brings his blessings in strange ways.

This means you should not judge or be surprised that God really can bless
you by many odd sources. Let it be and the Universal Sacred will find a
way to help you if you are open to letting everything be your teacher.

Also my spiritual mentor nurtured me with this knowledge; you are the
God you have been waiting for. Meaning, the spark of Peace is
within you, just be willing to feel it when you need it most. it is always
there if you look past your doubt and fear.

When we fear it is because we look and circumstances, when we
feel calm it is because that Spirit that is within conquers the circumstances of
the world.

I send you deep love from Spirit and prayers of light and peace.
Be excellent to one another> Advice spoken by Saint Bill and Saint Ted.

Anika...

just as you made it through the mania, you too will survive the depression. it may seem impossible to believe from depths below wherein you lay, but it is not. this too shall pass. just hold onto your faith as tightly as you can and reach from way down deep to pull yourself up. faith is the light that will bring you from the darkness into the light.

I will add you to my prayer list. just remember, you are not alone in fighting this depression. we re here to help you and pray for you. with prayers and The Almighty over you, you shall come out of this with minimal bruises, if any. just believe and hold on. the ride may not be what you expect, but you will reach your desired destination with your faith and prayers. best of all wishes to you. take care and get well. then, stay well! much love sent your way.
