Hi! My grandmother is a Jehovah's Witness and I dated a Jehovah's Witness in high school. I know a fair bit about the religion. I'd be happy to answer a question. I might (or might not) know the answer.

Hi Angie -- I am not a Jehovah's witness. I was raised as an RC.

I think this is a matter of how the young lady views the event. If she is stepping inside the church to be with you and to learn about how others worship, to me this does not mean that she herself is *celebrating* Easter.

If I attend a friend's bar mitzvah to honor the son's Jewish experience, this does not make me Jewish. If I go to a Buddhist temple and sit on a mat and hear the monks chant, it does not make me a Buddhist celebrating that holiday with them,

Is she expressing any confusion or apprehension about wanting to go to mass? Or has she just said that she wants to go? My opinion would be to let her make up her own mind on this. Maybe she's enjoying the companionship she's finding with your group and that's why she wants to go on outings with you. Or, maybe she's dissatisfied with her current faith and is interested in experiencing your faith. If I were you, I would leave it up to her. You're not putting any pressure on her to go to mass with you. She's the one who wants to go, so I think you should just welcome her along.

I hope you enjoy mass. Happy Easter!

she has been welcome in past, but hubby is very confused cuz he feels she is being hypocritical of other faiths , she called another JW from center and said we needed to learn the proper ways cuz we accept Christ as Savior
are we hypocrites by allowing her to come?

Why would YOU be a hypocrite in any manner? You do what your faith gives you to do... Need a question answered

I find it sad that she has to ask someone else what she "believes" or not... If they are that afraid she might leave their organization because she views how others worship, then they best train her better, faster.

By all means invite her along. Sounds to me like she might still be searching...at least for love and acceptance.
