Oh so much correct thinking going on in this thread...so many good efforts.

I think that the forgiving is more for the victim than the abuser. It's good if you can do it, as it keeps them from taking the rest of your life too.

i pray for my abusers 'loving' soul because if i imagine it exists, it exists for me... if it exists for me, it might be able to exist for them... i pray you find healing peace soon so we all may heal....
