I had a strange episode yesterday. I had gotten upset and I heard some bad voices, and shortly after that I couldn't move like normal. I was staring off into space and I could not move. After a while, I could move but only very very slowly. It was like my body just shut down on me. It was the craziest thing that I have ever experienced. I don't know what that was all about, but it was really scary, and I hope it never happens again. Has anyone had this experience or something similar?

On a different note, I am down today. I am hoping that it doesn't last though. I'm trying to remain positive to prevent the downward spiral. It's not that bad. It is just that I can feel myself sinking. Happy vibes, happy vibes.

Thanks for reading this.

Hi spincera, I have heard of people going "catatonic" in their psychosis, maybe that's what you experienced?

I think that I will talk to my pdoc about it. I'll see if that might be what happened. Thanks for your reply.

i have experienced this type of thing before, i just assumed i disassociated afterwards. two days ago, i had felt an energy asking me to look at it - to me they were aliens and i didn't want to look so i didn't, it was speaking in languages i couldn't understand out side of my head, then it transmitted their language to english into my head and explained it will reveal something soon in an out of body experience. i was skyping with my boyfriend during this and he said i was shaking a lot and he had to call my name to get me to .......this is weird sharing this, i never share this kind of stuff. *coughs*
i feel like an idiot, i won't continue what i was going to say, but i won't erase this either. idk. ffs. *hides*

I had another episode last night. However, I wasn't extremely upset, but was slightly bummed. Anyway, I felt the episode come on gradually, but then it took over full force. Thank heavens I was lying down at the time. I am actually going to talk to my regular doctor about it in the morning. I think that it might be due to the Geodon. I found out that it can happen with that type of medication. It is scary to say the least. It starts and then just takes over. Anyway, I will see what the doctor says. I will also inform my pdoc too. However, she won't probably get back to me until Tuesday.

god damn it, i had another episode last night as well. the aliens/demons took over my body and spoke through me to my boyfriend and i have no idea what was said. he said i was laughing at him and smirking and my eyes were glazed. and i was referring to myself as "she". i have no idea what he is talking about. why is this happening to me. hahahahahahahahaha. i probably need to get to a doctor. it was suggested that i may be going into psychosis - i am not going into damn psychosis, and i don't want medication and i don't want to see a doctor. i feel fine. i am fine.

i'm sorry spincera, i am not trying to hijack your thread. i am just relating to what you are going through. i'm not scared, i'm more worried about what was said. i am glad, that you are seeking help though. idk what my problem is why i won't go. well i do, but i'll keep that to myself.

It is not a problem Smiles...you need to express yourself too and there is nothing wrong with that. I do not mind you explaining what is happening to you. It helps to know what is going on with you as well.

Well for me...I know that this happens to me. I try to breathe and to do something with my hands....artwork etc. I ,make sure I have it right next to my chair. When I freeze up it is really necessary to have it nearby..really nearby. Also my limictal and seriquil are regulars. I try to walk outside on the usual days so that on the odd days..I am good. I do know what you went through. The graditude list with two things a day written down on it...beside my chair is a (1) to do! I don't know what happened to me but it is Cognitive Dissonece and when I was a kid ...so much was a mess...I CAN ACCEPT ...that there is not a definate answer and tell myself...Robin it is still allright for you Robin to not have a definate answer for yourself ...every single time...I SAY JUST BREATHE...VISUALIZE A SUN RISE AND A BEACH...and most of all ...I AM GOING TO TELL YOU it will improve...i have sat catatonic for months even a year but the support group helps IT HELPS TO BE THERE. XOXO CRAPE

Yes, I do artwork. I wouldn't necessarily call myself an "artist" per se. heehee But I enjoy making pretty pictures. However, some of them aren't so "pretty." They can be a bit eerie at times, like the trees picture. Thanks for noticing.

Also, thank you for your post and well wishes. It helps knowing that I'm not alone.

My doctor thought it was a movement issue due to being on two anti-psychotics. I don't know if I believe her thought, because I have only had it twice. It can also be due to the illness. Thanks for asking browneyed.

Interesting. I never knew that could happen. Thanks for the quick reply. It's strange all the things this illness and its treatments can do to us. Very scary, in fact.

Sleep paralysis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i couldnt find any info on waking paralysis..i too have experienced visual stretching of roads while up for days hearing voices. though it was the voices and sounds causing my mind to react. ive had sleep paralysis about 3-5 times in life, each time i heard voices or footsteps.
