Had to take extra thorazine last night for agitation and this morning for voices. I'm lucky it works for me at such a low dose, just wish it kicked in a little quicker!

Schizoaffective-wise I'm great. I am stressed about medical issues going on and insurance things though. ED wise not so great.

My Cymbalta is really helping. I still get sad and sometimes depressed, but it's not as bad. Also, using DBT/CBT works better for me now.

I just heard my non-sensical voice. It kept humming over and over. I got stressed out watching an informational piece on Gaia TV. I thought I would feel inspired. Instead, I was overwhelmed and frustrated. It's getting quiet again. I will have to meditate and not watch more stuff like that.

Edit: It's active when I try to quiet my mind. I will have to find a distraction. I can't believe I'm so upset.

Stressful day with lots of crying. Voices more active than lately, but not near unbearable (yet). I wonder if my shot is starting to wear off.

Injection is definitely wearing off. I'm taking PRN thorazine 1-2x a day now when I almost never needed that. It's still a week before I'm supposed to get the next injection which is going to be a higher dose. I'm scared because it's the max dose and it's similar to risperdal and the max dose of risperdal consta made me very sick. They say the side effects of invega aren't as bad as risperdal though. I'm still scared.

I am doing great!! My message here is to all here who have given up hope. Please don't give up and persist. Life is a journey, not a destination. I also don't tell people about my illness, and this has helped tremendously. I highly recommend if you don't need to disclose, then don't. Everybody has problems. So, I would just act like if you are ok if possible. I am stable since I am compliant now. I am having the most productive time now that I am stable. Please don't let your diagnosis dictate your life. I don't but know my limitations. I know I have an illness and need to take care of myself no matter what. I am working and am seeking more work. I am part of the working poor but am happy and free. Success is not about comparing yourself to others but small daily triumphs. These small victories lead to bigger ones. We all are winners here! Lead a happy life by taking care of yourself as a priority. I love this site!!

The IOP Pdoc asked me today if I wanted to be IP. I said no. He said don't you think you'd be safer there? (Probably) but I don't want to be IP. So he raised the dose of my medication instead. We'll see how that goes. Kit

My non-sensical voice wasn't too active today. I felt much better. This day has been a big improvement.

Not doing so hot in terms of psychotic symptoms, took a thorazine so hopefully that'll help. I have therapy today in a couple hours.

I'm not doing well tonight. I talked with my mom just to have a good, positive conversation. She had to dump her problems on me. And they are disturbing. I'm very upset. I can barely cope with my problems, how am I supposed to deal with hers. I cant. I will quit talking to her. I've set boundaries before. She doesn't respect them. She crossed the line today. It's over. I want nothing more to do with her. No more texting. No more calling. I don't want or need her help. She is poison.
