Here and a bit sleepy. Son woke me up at 2:30 am while he was up getting something to eat. At least it was salmon!

I'm a little worried about my cat Tiger who's been missing for a couple of days. He did this once before and came home. Hope he comes back this time.

Hi everyone.

Gr3tta, hope things get better.

Costello, sorry to hear your cat has sloped off... hopefully he'll be back soon.

Thanks, mgran. He's still not back. I hope he's just off romancing some lady cat somewhere. Or that one of the neighbors has taken him in, and he'll make a break for freedom soon. Trying to remember when I saw him last. I think it was Thursday or Friday, so he may yet come back.

Dexter - one of my other cats - doesn't get along with Tiger. He's been sitting around with a smug look on his face, so maybe he knows something I don't.

Unfortunately Tiger is pretty bold, so he may have decided he could hold his own with a coyote or something. Bold, friendly or outgoing cats never last long at my house. Dexter and Gizmo, my old cats, are shy and timid. They know how to avoid trouble. They lie low and stay away from the predators. I knew when my younger son Adam brought Tiger home as a kitten I shouldn't keep him. He's too fearless. He grabbed my heart, though, and I let him stay.

Doing better. Just got back from a long trip of sorts. Not a vacation, but I don't really care, I just want to get better. I am now taking medication. I'm not sure if it's helping or not, but I am experiencing side effects. But it's only been a week, so maybe I just need to wait a little longer for the medication to start doing what it's supposed to do (whatever that is...).

By the way: How do you delete a thread or a post?
Thanks for this!

Here and doing well.

Slept better last night. I wonder if taking fish oil capsules at night is causing the insomnia I've had recently. I didn't take them last night, and I zonked right out and slept until morning.

Tiger still isn't home. Beginning to look as if he's gone forever.

Costello, someone I think in the medications forum mentioned that they felt fish oil might be causing their insomnia. Can you switch from taking it at night to perhaps breakfast or maybe lunch to see if your insomnia improves?

I'm sorry to hear that Tiger hasn't come home yet.
Thanks for this!

Thanks, cyber. I did take it in the morning yesterday and the day before. Seemed to help the night before last but not last night. I started with the fish oil, because I thought it might help my tendonitis or bursitis or whatever it is I have going on in my shoulder. The pain cleared within days, but now the sleep problem.

I'll visit the animal shelter tomorrow to see if somehow Tiger ended up there. Seems unlikely because I don't think he'd let a stranger catch him but you never know. Someone might have come out to the lake to enjoy the nice weather, saw my cat and thought he was a stray and coaxed him in and took him to the shelter.

Costello, I'm all too familiar with insomnia so I know how you feel, but I'm glad your physical pain has resolved.

I do hope Tiger is at the shelter and that you sleep well tonight.
Thanks for this!

Here and okay.

I just heard on the radio that today is the 100th anniversary of the Titanic hitting the iceberg.

They're saying we're going to have tornados this weekend. Never heard of them predicting tornados so far ahead.

Slept well. Stayed up too late watching tv, but slept well once I went to bed.

Going to look for Tiger today.

Here and okay.

The shelter didn't have Tiger, and the storms weren't as bad as they were predicting - at least in my area, I hear there were tornados elsewhere.
