I return! I've been struggling a lot, but I'm going to be talking to my psychiatrist next week, so yay for that. So sorry for dropping off the face of the earth. I tend to do that sometimes.

My new psychiatrist just cancelled my appointment by sending a letter in the mail...seriously? I'm not sure abou this one.

From what I understand, it's a clinical term to describe a variety of nonscientific and at times irrational beliefs (getting some of this from google). An example would be me thinking that my ex was controlling my thoughts through my dreams. A belief in the paranormal could be considered 'magical thinking', but they should look at the context. Like...if I'm part of a religion that believes certain things, then those beliefs shouldn't constitute magical thinking unless they were truly bizarre, I think? Sorry if I got any of that wrong.

im sick of seeing people on the facebook news posts badmouthing stories about the mentally ill. say "nut" and "nuthouses" and saying they need to be put in asylums...

Should throw those people in asylums and see how they like it.

Yea - see how "sane" they are a month or two later.

Yeah its not good. But to people who are not mentally ill they have no idea what it is like. They can not relate to it in anyway , it is only when a person becomes ill that they can see how easy it can happen. Of course many of the people who are not ill are completely ignorant of how madness is perfectly a logical progression if their mind became unstable. So they are completely confident in their sanity , so confident to make the distinction of the sane and the insane and categorising the insane as completely unrelated to them.

Of course if only they knew...but....they would have to be insane to know.

And exhale.......

sometimes i wonder if im becoming more sane or if the psychosis just temporarily subsided. i felt ok recently but ive also thrown myself into movies and tv shows the past 3 days.

The problem was with the instructions. The instructor put "Assume all angles are under 90°" at the top of the assignment webpage, which was an error.

I took it literally. Grrrr. That was a bad Didgee moment.

I'm in the ICU at the moment and I'm hoping I won't go into a psych ward for my mistake. Hoping for the best for later today and that's all I can do for now. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
