When I was in the hospital in Cincinnati the hospital was mainly for those with eating disorders. The dietitian there held a group for everyone in the unit and the dietitian asked questions to us on what certain things were and it seem like those who where there for eating disorders known every question.

Anyone with a true ed is probably better educated than most "official" food or nutritional so-called experts.

whatever. i lost my weight how i wanted to. i lost it didnt i? prob more than you can say. i lost almost 100 pounds. however it was lost doesnt matter. it was lost. but i did it healthily initally.

haha theres no rift.

please dont school me. i dont need to be schooled on here. i dont need a teacher on psychcentral. i dont trust someone with ED to be "educated". they are NOT educated.

Have you guys heard of prebiotic fiber? So a few years back I was at a talk and they actually showed that a lot of what we consider genetic based weight gain actually had to do with bacterial flora in the gut and you could transfer it among mice making fat mice thin and vice versa but transferring fecal pellets. So for a while people thought that probiotics were a great option but the problem is they don't colonize so you have to keep taking them every day pretty much forever for them to work. All of the latest studies suggest that by eating prebiotic fiber....this is stuff you can't digest but bacteria can you can actually change your flora instead of just supplementing it everyday. In most cases this is suggested to be done by introducing a lot of fruits and veg and whole grains instead or processed foods but there are supplements as well. Just wondering if anyone had ever tried anything like this?
