Yes our weather here in Dallas has been pretty nice. I took her to the lake and walked her all around. She loves to run out there and chase the squirrels that she can never catch! My daughters also help with walking her. My youngest daughter took Daisy to the park today and kept her out for a while. I think she wore her out because Daisy is all stretched out asleep on my legs.

It is finally starting to feel Spring like outside!

Yes we still have snow piles but the sidewalks are almost totally clear...even though it's cold again it still feels springy with the increase in daylight and stuff. I have some daffodils inside since I was jealous of willows spring flower pics and also some purple shamrocks for the holiday which I will eventually move outdoors for the summer. I also ordered a bunch of flowers and heirloom tomatoes which will ship for spring planting...

Oh that sounds exciting!

I wonder how Costello's chicks are doing? I wonder if she ever got that house built for them....

Not sure if I'm looking forward to spring. Here in Columbus, Ohio the snow we had has already melted. It was wet today but it didn't feel like winter... It felt like early spring.

I wish people on Facebook would stop posting videos of teenagers getting into fights. It's not funny... it's disturbing.

It is definitely disturbing. But I like to see people defending themselves against bullies. Especially when the bully gets his *** kicked.

I got into over 20 physical fights before I was 13. (Still friends to this day). After that I guess I isolated myself and became more mature. I didn't start any of them. Except for the time I was pulling on this 12 year olds shirt while playing soccer when I was 4. He stopped and intentionally punched me right in the mouth and I fell down hard. Got up and didn't feel anything until I looked in the mirror with my bottom tooth hanging from a thread and a trail of blood behind me. Lol. Fun times and innocence being raised in Ireland.

Do you have an Orshelns nearby? That's where I've bought most of mine.

One of my roosters was getting out of hand, so I brought him into the house. He's staying in a dog crate most of the day, but in the morning I bring him out and cuddle him (roosters don't like that much but he's getting used to it), then I put him in the bathroom while I shower and he crows and crows and crows. I'm going to move 6 or 7 of my roosters out to my mom's house. Eventually I'd like all of us to be out there.

I love roosters, but they're loud and messy. Pullets are easier.

I'm looking into getting a livestock guardian dog for my chickens. What do you think of this one? Petfinder Adoptable | Dog | Australian Shepherd | Perkins, OK | Bear

i think i do have some by that a store sells around here. two stores since i live in the country. id have to keep them in a box in my room til the chicken coop gets built outside.

theres someone a few acres away that has a gaurdian dog for his chickens and ducks but one duck ggot out already and another chicken got eaten. its these vultures and hawks nearby i think.

Costello, that's a really cute dog! Australian Shepherds are great dogs. My husband had one named Miss Bailey as a kid and all the stories of her are that she was the best dog.

I swear you chicken stories always give me ideas for comics. Haha. Maybe I should do a whole comic about chickens...

Yeah. My chickens are in a box in my bathroom. They have to be kept warm until their feathers come in.

That's too bad. I have lots of hawks around my house too. I also have lots of trees too, so they can run for cover. And roosters are really good, I guess, at spotting hawks and calling out a warning so the hens can run and hide.

The puppy is adopted.
