We'll I got a call from the caseworker today. Apparently I need to spend 75 dollars in medical bills to get my medical card. Little annoyed but it's doable. My meds all together are 800 bucks a month. Crazy crazy crazy.

I'm just glad you're still covered I remember when I was changing jobs its was a big deal to make sure I had coverage at all times because there was the possibility it wouldn't start for a month and I needed constant medication and had started hearing voices again so I was afraid I was going to relapse and end up in the hospital instead of my new job. Oh brief moment of cognitive restructuring there---my cbt therapist was always like if you get overly worried about something and it later works out OK just remember that and reapply it the next time things get tough. So that's one more thing to add to the list...

Apparently I qualify for Medicare which I thought in my state is for those over 65 years. Debating on whether or not to apply for it.

Like medicare in addition to medicaid or instead of? I think the prices are much lower for medicaid but they don't necessarily cover everything where Medicare you basically have to pick a separate plan for meds so they are more like an insurance company...

Not sure if I can get them together. My mom said to wait off on it. So I'll just do that.

North Korea: Men Required to Get Same Haircut as Leader Kim Jong Un - TIME

Apparently in North Korea the men are now mandated to get the same hair cut as Kim Jong un. Funny yet sad at the same time.

Have you taken any haldol today? Not to be a jerk but if this continues you'll probably end up in the hospital and possibly back on injection...I just think you should treat yourself before someone forces it on you...

I just found out my high school chem grade and I'm crying so hard. I'm so sick of having mental illnesses holding me back. She said that they will not consider that I was really mentally ill during that time which affected my grade because the head of the programs do not accept students directly, the admission staff do. I can't get into the medical program now.

I can take chemistry in the fall and several other classes, I feel so sad and have so many mixed feelings. I feel like I let everyone down because I have As in everything else, but my high school chem grade. I forgot how psychotic I was when I first developed my illness and almost failed.

I don't understand---what kind of school are you at now? Did you just finish high school? When I got into college they didn't look at my high school grades after that sure you had counselors who helped you pick classes in areas you were good at but once you were in college they never looked at your high school grades again....

I'm going to a college that look at your high school grades, it's an odd college, but it is the only one in my area that has the lab tech program.
