sometimes i cant sleep at night.sometimes all i can see when i turn out the lights are all those things twisting and moving in the dark they look so horrible and so evil so i have to turn on the light but i cant sleep with the light on.these meds are helping but they dont stop everything.and then i get this strong creepy feeling that something is right behind me or watching me or something is going to reach out and grab me and attack me.once i hallucinated this beastly creature it looked like a cross between a worm and a pig in my room flying around.

Lillybird90: What about headphones? Have you ever tried falling asleep with music in your ears?

That's true. But it does help. The over the counter Unisom works for me but I don't use them much.

Now that I'm not working I probably won't be taking any sleeping meds for a long while. I don't have to get up early if I don't want to. My sleeping schedule will get all screwed up I'm sure. Heck it's already 4am here!

Yeah check with your doc about it. Your doc will know what is best for you. Then if you want to take them you'll at least have them.

Find a good movie to distract you. That should help
Thanks for this!
