I often check this thread to see how you are, Angelique. I had a couple of other ideas. Do you have social workers in America? In England, a MH social worker can help with housing and relocation. Yes it might take time, but it's so much better when there's someone supporting you through the process. Another thing I thought of was looking for local/ state/ national charities. In the UK, national not for profits have a local office that you can call, and people who work or volunteer there, who can give you advice, get you access to funding and so on. I know that getting your meds sorted is important, but involving other people whose job it is to help you is also a priority. So for example a social worker could come to your apartment and see for themselves the things you're talking about, and testify on your behalf to your landlord or the police or whatever. The frustrating thing about this site is its all virtual and we can't help you in practice, other than thinking of suggestions and sending our good wishes. But a social worker or a charity person could do. Please keep posting and let us know how you are!
Thanks for this!

Thank you, Little Cat! Those are excellent suggestions. There are some social workers, one came to my door in 2010 or 2011 when I was still delusional about the stalker. I hope I kept their cards, but if not I think there's a number I can call to find one.

It would be great if there were someone else who could look into these things the neighbors are doing, or verify what's going on somehow. Just standing in the stairwell on a day like the past few days, they'd be able to hear all the triggering.

Thank you!

I'm so glad to hear that things went well with your pdoc. It's always good to have your feelings validated the bump in abilify should help as well. I'm just so happy for you.

Thank you, ofthevalley! Yep, now I know this is real. They are still triggering me though. I'm not sure how to cope with that but maybe the bump up on the Abilify will help me not care, or I'll try the police again, and maybe the restraining order.
Thanks for this!

I also check this place a lot.
I admit the social worker idea is better than digging in tough...
But why don't you ring the doorbell and politely ask them to stop? They might see you're not hateable that way...
Thanks for this!

I think Angelique already did but they seem to take pleasure in torturing her. Some people are like that...

Oh, I'm entirely hateable for them. They are entitled to hate me. I don't like them much either. :/

Yes, thanks Lazarus. Got off on the wrong foot with them the first night he came knocking on doors telling everyone he was having a party, so we could arrange to be away. The party never ended. I guess maybe since new years it has. Or they just found a new way to party.

Getting a phenomenal recording of them all. I guess it's easier for them to do the triggering in the middle of the night. This is excellent luck.
Thanks for this!

On the down side, it looks like I wrecked one of my phones. I put it on the charger to see if it would revive, but no such luck.

I had something like that happen to my iPhone. Wouldn't come on or charge.

Was an easy fix when I discovered what to do though, you have to do a "soft reset". How you do that varies on what type of phone you have. If it's not a smartphone/doesn't do that though, I guess it might just be shot...

I left a message for you in another thread – and I used the word, or a vartiation of, "validated" 57 times in one sentence.

Even though things don't always turn out as anticipated, I always leave my doc's office feeling much better than when I went in. I can get scared, though, and forget that in a flash. I have an appointment Monday at 9:00 AM. This is the time that I usually begin feeling as if I should cancel the appointment.

Not gonna let it stop me, though.

Not this time.

Yes, I pushed the power button for a long time, while it was on the charger and it came back to life, thank goodness. Is that a soft reset?

Definitely go. It is very scary for me to leave the apartment but I'm always glad I went and got things taken care of. But I'd better reschedule my opthalmology appointment because Monday will be after the blizzard and I won't be able to see at all after the appointment. Cataracts and dilating drops

Yes, I reckon so.

They just won't stop triggering me. I can't figure out when, if ever, they go to sleep. I'm suffering a lot because of them. I have to go to the police with a good recording. This early morning's period might be good enough but there was noise on my phone, music playing that I didn't even hear with these ear plugs in yet I can hear them triggering me. This is a sick, disgusting situation.

If you are still thinking of moving. Ohio or New Hampshire has great mental health services and help. I know people who live there and they receive lots of services. Bowling Green Ohio is one of the best. Keene New Hampshire is also really up to date on all of the community based services and help. Good luck.
Thanks for this!

They just keep at it, around the clock. Trying to make recordings, not easy. The best time to record them is right after I wake up when all three of them are at it at once. But I'm too groggy to get the app started, still have TV on, etc. This could drive me to do something bad. I can't stand it anymore.

Was it better when you got out of the house yesterday? Maybe spend some time away from home?

Well, there's no place I can go. Except inpatient.

Since I screamed earlier, they cut back on a lot of it. They're still doing it but less loudly and less frequently. I hope it's true that when you put the lights on the cockroaches scatter.

I don't know the extent of your physical limitations but couldn't you visit a library or a restaurant or coffee house, some place you can just be for a while....
