I recognize the names but that's about it. Clearly not or it would have stuck. I don't particularly have a good memory for these things though.

To be fair, since you mention it... I am actually fairly interested in medicine. I took a forensic medicine course at Uni that I really enjoyed. It's actually what I got my highest marks in.

You might remember me mentioning she was unwell over Christmas. She had a couple of falls then too at the care home but wasn't badly hurt, so it seems something is causing her to get these falls. My Mum did wonder if she was having more mini-strokes. I guess they'll find out at the hospital.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope she's okay.

So, I was wondering. What position do you guys sleep in?

I've slept on my stomach for the past 20 years or something, bar when I broke my arm. I did used to sleep on my side but I don't know, just started sleeping on my stomach for some reason when I was pretty young.

I'm pretty aware that sleeping on your stomach is the worst sleeping position. As it is, I can only sleep that way on the left side of the bed because it causes neck strain on the other side. Can't be a good sign that I can tolerate that on one side!

I tried sleeping on my side last night, maybe spent 20 minutes on my side but it just wasn't happening. I've tried a few times before over the years too but had no success. There must be way to change how I sleep, just seems half impossible.

I sleep on my side in like a fetal position. If I sleep on my front without realising I usually get sleep paralysis which is bloody scary

Did you just get out the habit, or are you not able to now for some reason?

Yeah! I went through a period of insomnia & sleep paralysis when I was a teenager. Was awful. I think the first time it happened I honestly thought I was dying for a few seconds.

I slept on my side almost my whole life. But in the past few years I guess, I've slept also on my back.
Thanks for this!

I'm just not able to anymore. No idea why.

Blue_Bird, I hope you don't mind me saying but I really admire your positivity and will to live a full life. You've been through so much and your optimism is inspiring. Even with the challenges you've faced with your illness and your mom passing you still have a great outlook.

It's great to see.

I worked as a heavy duty mechanic for 2 years and then welding for a year every day part time and full time and worked full time last summer at my moms work. First two I had to leave because of psychosis. I'm trying to find part time work but no jobs available atm because of the disaster of an economy.

Hopefully I can move to the city later and get a job, study, have friends, a life etc.

Apparently a woman spent all her life's savings on the powerball tickets and is now trying to get compensation from them.

aaa nothing like seeing the results of a workout program. i moved my bed across my room today. hadnt done it since september and ive been weight training pretty consistently since then. back then it took me over half an hour to get it across. i have a really bulky bedframe so i'd have to completely remove the boxspring + mattress, which was a ton of careful maneuvering of things twice my size in a pretty small space. today i was able to get it across with just the mattress removed in about 10 minutes >:^) !!!!! I Am The Strong

other results of the bBig Clean: my tv is now facing diagonally at an angle where it isnt facing my bed so AM cant watch me sleep anymore. i can turn it if i want to use the tv but otherwise itll stay facing Away. i dusted my big bookshelf and rearranged all my figures, tomorrow i want to either arrange my books by size or alphabet. and ive done 3 big loads of laundry that ill be hanging up soon!!! plus a big grocery shop for healthier foods because im tired of hot pockets. im so, so tired of hot pockets. why is food so tiring. why ami saying all this here? i just feel good abt it!!!!!!! :P

and @loial abt the sleeping poses i sleep a lot on my side!! i used to use these sleep meditation videos tht made u sleep on your back and i trained myself to do it that way but, once i stopped using the videos that went away pretty fast. i have lots of huggable pillows and plushies anyway. i just got a 3' tall plush kylo ren from star wars exclusively for hugging
Thanks for this!
