Yeah but addictive sedatives like Z drugs are only prescribed (when appropriately) short term. Shouldn't be prescribed for longer than 2 weeks. Same goes for benzo's. It's wrong for doctors to prescribe for any longer than that, even if the patient claims they can't live without them and 'needs' them. Addiction is worse than anxiety.

I think it's also reasonable to expect the patient to bear some responsibility for becoming addicted to sedatives. The information is widely available and I don't believe ignorance of that information (in this day and age) is enough excuse.

Not talking about stimulants here, I really don't know enough about withdrawal and physically addictive properties of those drugs.

Morning all, Saturday at my dads place.

Slept okay last night, woke up with my earphones broken for some reason, sucks cause they were nice.

Been feeling depressed the last few days, no idea why. Maybe all the sitting around after surgery.

Yeah I saw a car in my driveway yesterday morning and it just sat there for awhile and things like that. Sheesh. <_<

Yeah I think it's unrealistic for everyone on here to like everyone else. I'm not perfect sometimes I say things that get misinterpreted but I don't have any malicious intent as hard as it may be for some people to see that.

Im surprised there arent many more tiffs on here. Most forums are much more volatile and given that we have mental health problems i'd expect more personal aggro here. Kudos to all!

Good morning folks! I'm about to have ze coffee. I have to do work today, but at least the first half is from home. Although I'm glad I can't restaurant from my house, too many people.

Last night was so so so so busy, it was 10x busier than super bowl. I saw my coworker, who rarely ever shows his frustration, yell at toasts he burned before throwing them. He usually just whistles calmly when things get hectic. We ran out of everything over and over. I was running to the fridge to grab romaine to chop of for salads the I needed at the moment. And I didn't even bother mixing the mixed greens. So sorry. Yesterday must have been Cobb salad appreciation day. Those things are so annoying! Bloody avocados. I need to be faster.

Any way, I got kicked out after 12:40 because I was in danger of exceeding 40 hours. I felt like I had been punished.

But today is a new day. New mistakes and new fun things.

So who has pets and what do you have? I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I have a pit/shepherd mix, a beagle, and a pit bull. The cats are all torties. The dogs live on the first floor and the cats live on the second floor. They don't get along.

They're all rescue cats. Spent 2000 to fly them across the Atlantic when I was moving.

I have two cats. I got Annie when she was a kitten. my moms friend saw kittens in the woods and they were getting eaten by coyotes so he grabbed her and gave her to us. I got Kitten because her owner was moving and couldn't take any pets.

They are my babies, they're moving with me to New York

My parents have a two cats. A moggy & an Abyssinian. I still consider them my cats too even though I don't live with my parents.
