Had a good sleep last night. 10 hours straight without waking up every one or two hours. Finally. I woke up feeling fresh. Took my meds for tonight already, hopefully I will have a good rest again. Hope everyone enjoy their day. Good night

Why, just because of that weight? I never want to go back to the psychosis I had for like 8 years. It was torture.

It was. But i was at least happy because i wasn't dependent on relationships and other people. I had no friends and no boyfriend. I fully relied on myself.

Meeting with treatment team went really well. Psychiatrist stopped the Lexapro cuz of the heart thing but the QTc interval should go down soon.

I plan to do running.

I leave the psych ward on Sunday =]

Psychiatrist wants me to come back when I get my drivers license to talk to the group and tell my story. I feel like I'd need a benzo to do that though.. lol

Well, you have the skills you had then. You just need to dust them off and ease back into using them.again. you have new skills too.

You don't have to be dependent on friends or a boyfriend. They are nice to have but a necessity. You don't want to be dependent on someone who treats you bad.

I should probably have kept my mouth shut. I am dependent on my family to keep me happy. But they do treat me well.

If not for my friend, I'd be completely alone in the world. It's important to be self reliant. That way, God forbid anything really bad happened, you'll be able to get through it. I am not the same lonely hermit I used to be though, so I don't want to test that theory anytime soon. When my cat passed away, it was more than I could handle. It took me a long time to recover. I feel very afraid for my friend and me this summer into fall. I am afraid to tempt fate (knock wood).

Omg guys, I am so excited, finally met someone intelligent. And she studies medicine, so she knows of things, even if it is not psychology and I am so thrilled but she is 23 and I am 17 and I have no clue if that is too big of an age gap, but I don't care because she can be an awesome friend as well! Just wanted to share.

I'm not sure what the laws are in your part of the world, but in the USA you are not of legal age to be with anyone right now. Sorry to rain on your parade, but you do need to be aware, so that nothing bad happens to your friend and yourself.

It's not often I think of what I am thankful for, but I have to say for my meds to be working well without too many side effects is one for sure.

I suppose I'd say I only have residual symptoms now... just wish they'd disappear altogether. Also thankful for good insight... hearing voices everyday would be a completely different story otherwise.

So all in all, things are good right now.

I think for relationships, above 16, for intercourse- 18. Which I am perfectly fine with.

That's good! I'm glad you found an exciting new friend. In less than a year you can be with her however you both wish.

I have no clue, but even not being that much legal, you can still have intercourse in between 16 and 18 with of course the agreement of the younger. You guys in the states are confusing. Everywhere is different!

Yes lol. On the cop shows they're always saying that 18 is the legal age for everything. Drinking, voting, joining the army, and of course, relationships. You and your friend are fine, I guess. I'm very glad for you.

It's 16 in the UK too.
