This new guy is too nice kinda. He texts me good morning and good night texts everyday. Says he likes to cuddle. Wishes me a good day and asks me if i rested well in the morning. He says he doesnt mind taking it slow. Just a whole bunch of stuff. Im not used to this.

I was like that, low self-esteem, thought I deserved to be treated badly. Thanks to my lovely but abusive father, I learnt that relationship with men is about being loved one second and being beaten the next second, that was why I was trapped in abusive relationship many times. My current bf is a very nice guy who respects me and I often want to run away from him because I'm not used to be treated that way.

Thats how i feel 12am. Like i want to run away or not talk to him because hes too nice. But i know i wouldnt accept anything less so idk why i feel this way.

I have a sony alpha 6000---its a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with aps sensor size---pretty nice, the lenses aren't ridiculous and its smaller than a dslr, much smaller...

Everyone says my ex was ugly and obese but i have a thing for bigger guys. This guy is on the skinnier side. Plus he has a beard and mustache. I never found that attractive on guys.

I think the main thing stopping me from dating him is his looks and i feel absolutely horrible saying that.

Im kinda into him but not fully. But i wasnt into my ex either for months before i fell in love with him. So i want to give it a chance. I feel like if i dont give it a chance i will never really know how i truly feel about him. But we arent officially dating yet. Just hanging out. Not sure when I should say "im ready". Not sure if i should keep it a friendship still or go further. You know?

I think the biggest thing is, is im not over my ex yet and i still think about him. I feel like thats whats preventing me mainly. Sure i dont find this guy completely attractive but thats not a deal breaker for me. I always look at personality first.
