Everything sucks.

I'm sorry you are so depressed

Idk what to do. Either i go here and get a 4 year degree in the major i want. Or, go back taking a 2 year degree in a major i dont really want.

I hear you...It's been over a week for myself. It's just so hard to muster up the motivation and will power to do it.

I'm sorry you're having arguments with your father, Newtus. :/ I think ultimately it is your decision to do what you need to do with your life. I've had to go against my family's wishes when I was younger and ultimately I would not be who I am today if I hadn't followed my intuition. I think we almost have this higher vision in ourselves that provides guidance, and that is the single most important thing to follow. It's hard and sometimes ridden with challenges, but when we follow it, it can be transforming. You have support here, and people rooting you on. <3

I hate when it's quiet...the chatter and noises are so vivid during these times. It's like sometimes I hear just the quiet, followed off by realizing it *is* quiet because I was hearing noises I wasn't tuned into before. It happens to me a LOT. Does anyone else get things like this?

Thank you so much. No, yea i believe that. Having support here.

Its just, coupled with how the meds are making me feel today, and school and life in general...i cant keep taking these meds. But im not exactly open to new meds because i was a preemie baby. And im allergic to a lot of foods and medicines. Ive taken 2 diff antidepressants this year and ive had allergic reations to them. Had to goto the ER. Even had my hands knotting up with dyskenisia due to haldol when i first took it years ago. Ive tried all the atypical AP's and most of the typicals.

Haldol is the only one with the least side affects. All it does it make me tired and kinda put weight on me. But idk. Maybe thats too much.

You're welcome. <3

That's tough. I can relate to wanting to try new meds. I'm so fed up with all these side effects making life miserable. I'm sorry that you have so many allergic reactions, and that the Haldol makes you tired and gain weight. :/ A friend of mine is on it too and it causes the same issues for her. It sucks. It's hard to function in life if you have no energy. Risperidone did that for me and I slept all of life away.

I used to be on haldol injection (in my hip) when i wasnt taking my meds for a few years. It made me sleep 16-18!hours a day until i got off it. And its people like my pss who say "but you needed to at the time". No I don't believe that at all. I didnt need that much high dose of meds at any time. I feel like a low dose wouldve sufficed.

That's not good. It's funny how the mental health professionals support all this stuff when many times more than not they have no idea how it feels to be on these meds. I take what they say sometimes with a grain of salt...
Thanks for this!
