I'm not tweaky but if I had to guess it would be the stimulants(ADHD meds and more), they run more or less counter to the APs so its tough to balance out and remain sane though.

Have you considered metformin though it reduces AP associated weight gain.....

Sorry i dont mean to be rude, I literally thought he said he does amphetines and other drugs and like taking mulitple vitamins

My roommate is on Metformin. It kinds of makes her sleepless and increases anxiety and only helped her lose like 8 pounds. I have a hard enough time trying to sleep now. I did ask my psychiatrist about it and she said that's a drug that my general practitioner would have to prescribe. She will only do mental health drugs not weight ones.

Tweaky isn't really doing the amphetamines anymore, he's on Wellbutrin now from what I recall, which is still an upper. I couldn't sleep on it, plus it gives me anxiety.

Thats what my pdoc said too. That i need to get it from my MD

It's supposed to cut about half of AP related weight gain...not all but half...I don't know about the anxiety but it can cause other ill effects like gastrointestinal issues....some people have good luck with it though like erti I believe.

Those are good ideas, was wondering myself about copying them. I don't want to wreck the original because it has writing on it by the physical therapist whom I love. She made it seem normal/good for me here, and made me feel safe and kept me laughing.

No word from my psychiatrist since I've given the letter to the office. She's normally only in there like twice a week and crams everything really quickly. She treats herself like a machine. I bet she makes a god awful amount of money.

My pdoc only comes in once a week----she has other clinics though and also runs the psych fellows at the hospital.

I have no idea if she even works full time, a lot of pdocs do reduced work weeks just to keep their sanity, it a tough field on your empathy.

The past so many months i notice that since i have trichotillomania and pull out my eyelashes and brows, that theres a few hairs coming in blonde. I remmeber when i let my lashes grow back a bit there was quite a few blonde ones. Idk why.

Yeah mine works somewhere else also. I think she's pretty good, Much better than my previous one by leaps and bounds. I just don't think there is anything else up her sleeve. My anhedonia has been the problem for two years. Getting off these meds was risky and was my last ditch effort. I'm hoping she will figure the reason out why the antidepressant or mood stabilizer did what they did exactly, and if it's reversible at all. I'd like to know the exact cause of my muted emotions.

My mom was a cosmetologist for 30 years. She said its actually white hairs due to the hair follicles being damaged from pulling them out for the past 2 decades.

Speaking of white hair I really need to get my hair colored.

I'm...in a rut. Like, I slept/stayed in bed all day, and am still tired as hell right now. I went from euphoric and high mood yesterday to a mood crash at night that lasted into today. It...sucks.

At least I haven't been hearing voices the last couple days...well I think I did once earlier, but I was so tired I don't even know for sure. It's this memory impermanence that makes me think "ok, no need for meds! we can go off them!", which never leads anywhere good I'm sure.

I hope mine turns white all over, it looks like platinum blonde and you don't have to touch it up!
