When youve been with someone for a long time you see past stuff like that. Ive been in many relationships. Most of them when i was in high school. But i have had 3 major relationships (major as in i had deep feelings for them and were with them for a long time). My first one i was with for 6 years. Thought i was gonna marry him just cuz he was my first love and we were together for so long. Actually when i think about it all of my major relationships i thought i was gonna marry them.

Like a year and 3/4 or so....but this has been my longest relationship....

Hair. I personally don’t mind whether a guy has a long hair, short hair, bald by choice or not by choice. When I find someone’s attractive then I find him attractive with or without hair. Fiancé had a long hair before he dated me and I told him to cut it. The only reason was I didn’t like the fact that he was hiding his face behind his hair due to his social anxiety, also he thought he was ugly. I was like “dude you are handsome and most importantly you have a wonderful personality so let the world see you”. And he cut it. I think I am the one who will go bald sooner than him though, my hair is very thin and I can see the receding hairline on the right side of my head. Oh well, there’s always a wig

I think the important difference is he’s listening to what you want.....when I was with my ex for six months he started wanted to change my appearance slightly and my therapist at the time actually felt that was fine. I thinks it’s normal. Current bf and I are almost too independent I think. I think you should take into account what both people want, sure you get the final decision yourself but current bf is not only doing whatever he wants but making me feel guilty for suggesting he shouldn’t cut his hair.

Good morning! At my college. About to buy my textbooks and supplies. School starts next week! Excited.

How is everyone?

I was single for 8 years after high school. Til i met my ex. Ew.

I have a couple of semi-big issues.

School. Yea sure i want a degree. No doubt. But at this point i also couldnt care anymore. Im tired. Im gonna have to find some sort of balance between those feelings. At this point in my life im nott able to afford uni anymore, so itll have to be an associates degree. Its about money and time at this point. Ill have to choose to go back to a community college. Its embarrassing but oh well. Its embarrassing because i always imagined what i would put on my facebook for schooling when im done with college. Anyway theres that.

My weight. I have almost gained all the weight back i lost almost a year ago, over the holidays. Never even attempted to go back to my original diet after new years. Been eating total crap since November. And eating a lot. And eating late AND in the middle of the night. I have these fantasies about working out (lol) but its not realistic for me. I wanted to do a 5k this spring. Ive done a couple before but i cant due to my feet. My feet are getting worse.

Yeah I understand what you mean. Also I’d react the same as you in that situation, “why do you care about what other women think, is being attractive to me is not enough?”.

Fiancé agreed to cut his hair because he understood the reason why I wanted him to change his appearance. I wanted him to have more confidence and I didn’t just ask him to have more confidence but I was building it with him. It worked. He just got a permanent job that requires a social interaction yesterday and I was worried about it but he said “I can do it”. So proud of his progression. I cried from happiness when he said that. This is the man that a year ago couldn’t even talk to his own parents

I had 4 serious relationships before, I thought I was going to marry them too. I was thinking like that because they manipulated me, all four of them either physically or emotionally or sexually abused me. They had a chance to be with me forever and I’m so so glad that they blew it off lol 😂

Yeah it is. Though it makes me question myself though, he makes so many progression in his life while I’m still here depressed and jobless. He loves me unconditionally and supports me but I cannot make the same progression as he does. He told me that I do make progression that I now start loving myself, know what I want in life, know who I really am etc but I want more than that. I just find it’s so hard to fight all the negative symptoms to find a job

I'm just sitting here waiting for the college store to open. It's 9:30 and they don't open till 10 apparently. Yesterday on the phone they told me they open at 9 so that's when I got here today. Bored

Good afternoon/morning everyone. How are things going today?

I'm good. Went to get my piercing jewelry changed. Went from a 12mm horseshoe down to a 10mm hoop. Much better fit. Picked up some ibuprofen for prevention of inflammation. Once it is healed it looks like I can put either an 8mm or 9mm hoop to make it flush with my lip.

I'm so stubborn when it comes to my hair. I literally don't care what others think about it; and my wife and partner are totally okay with that. I've changed my style a ton over the last ten years. And different colors.

What's everyone up to?

Oh it’s because if they treated me well I might not be with the fiancé now. I’d rather being abused 100x and then meet the fiancé rather than not being abused but then never meet him
