Have you talked with your doc about getting on the injection of an ap? There's less to remember to take day by day. I understand if you don't like the idea of it, neither do I. But I'd go on the injection if I were forgetting my meds.

I’m not too fond of the idea of that. Plus I’ve been good on Latuda and it doesn’t look like it comes in injectable. I just missed it one day I’ll be fine.
Thanks for this!

I hate ice so much. And because it's so cold out I can't wear my non skid sandals outside. But I do have a good pair of boots for snow and ice if the mice didn't ruin them yet. They're in my apartment.

So my bf has been cutting his own hair but he messed up and cut too much off the sides tonight....
He was talking about just shaving it all off....one of these days I think he just will, then I’ll be dating a bald guy.

I think it’s different to seek them out vs sticking with when they change styles.

I was looking at some of our early pics and his hair was so black and I mentioned it to him tonight and basically he said he way using a dye.....it’s totally gray now.

I told him he should go to a shop to fix his hair again and he was like no never again. Sigh....

Speaking of hair....I need to shave the short part of my mohawk. It's a very clean cut line to follow. I'll prolly get my wife's help for the back. lol.

I shaved my head twice for a mohawk. Had my dad do it. He was extremely hesitant. But he did it.

The growth on the sides when your trying to grow it out, is hard. I didnt cut the hawk off. I let the sides grow out and match the long part. I really despised the growing out process. Really self conscious. And because my hair is naturally curly and frizzy i had to keep straightening the sides everyday.

But it was worth it.

God going bald to a man is like losing the love of your life slowly over the course of years. It's the one physical thing about us that we are self conscious of and fear. Women look at other women and instantly see flaws, but men look instantly at other men's hairlines just to see where their at and if they can do that hair style when it comes time. It's brave to go bald, I know a lot of women that are into it. If the majority of men are insecure about one thing it's their hair line.

Oddly enough, it's the woman's genes that dictate it. So women, if you have a balding father, that means your genes will dictate your sons hair growth.

My roommates sister has a son who is already starting to show a receding hairline and during Christmas the mother said, "Wow you're going bald!" and just humiliated the young boy in front of the whole family. That's like taking a jab at our manhood.

Oddly enough, it's because of testosterone that we lose the hair. And god has a sense of humor because he takes it from our heads and puts it on our backs and ears. haha

There is propecia to stop male pattern baldness but it takes away our sexual libido which totally negates the very reason we want hair lol. We just have to accept it.

All males in my family never go bald.

But in exchange I might get the gene of brain aneurysms! ^^

I'm switching between watching Dark, Greys Anatomy and Shameless on Netflix.

This is the sort of attitude that works heavily against me. Women don't find receding hairlines attractive.

Ah yes, I can relate to this.

My hairline started receding when I was 20. I was known for having a receding hairline at uni. I've just had to cope. The worst part is the judgement people pass just seeing a receding hairline.

The only reason I've not shaved my head completely is I'm too skinny to pull it off. It'll happen one day though. I keep getting shorter and shorter haircuts.

But historically bald guys got all the chicks because they were so good at hunting. Animals would be like wtf is that and not see the bald guys coming.

I don’t mind a receding hairline. Maybe because I’m older but it doesn’t bother me. My husband has a lot of hair but I wouldn’t mind if he went bald. I think it’s sexy.

My therapist is bald. He's been bald since I've known him. So he was already bald at 33

I've read that it happens because of too much testosterone

i wasnt talking about receding hairlines. I was talking about people who intentionally shave their head when they still have hair. I was under the impression thats what SP was talking about. Too many black guys shave their head in the US and its unattractive to me. Its unattractive when they have completely no hair and their head is slick.

Yes basically he has a bald spot the size of a quarter but he’s self conscious about it and thinks being entirely bald will somehow hide the fact that he is aging. I think he’s overreacting.

Problem is when you’re in a long term relationship and the girl isn’t into it. He actually said the only way he would go back to the hair salon was if he was looking for a new relationship because some women didn’t like bald men. I was kinda of like what’s up with that, you care more about what a stranger thinks than me. I told him I’d still love him I just wouldn’t like his hair if he cut it all off.

I guess I’m still getting used to the changes that go along with being with someone a long time.
