Working for 10-15 hrs a week, to supplement my income and improve my situation. Any suggestions? I have had managerial, IT, and selling experience when I lived in the United States.

I worked through upwork. It’s a site that subs out workers as independent contractors. There are thousands of jobs that you bid on. Some of them want to pay ridiculously low wages but if you look you can find some good places. I have had 4 jobs and 3 of them have lasted at least 2 years. The job I have now started there before I went to work for them directly. I make more than minimum wage and work when I want from home in my pajamas.
There is a fee for working. I forgot what the %age is but it’s not too bad considering the protection you get. It has always worked out for me. I’ve never been burned. It’s a pretty cool way to make some extra money. I don’t know that you could make a living doing it but you can make some extra money. I shouldn’t say that. It depends on how much you want to work. I work part time.

Oooooh! I heard about upwork. I wondered if its legit.

I did some research in the wee hours this morning. Found a good website called The Penny Hoarder. Its a popular website about finances and side jobs. I think its mostly aimed at young professionals/college students tho. But they had a list of 40 ways to make money without leaving home. I got through part of the list and stopped because i read in the article about Lionsbridge. Its a company kinda like Upwork. Hiring independent subcontractors, etc. I researched the company through Glassdoor.com which is a site that employees rate their job on. Every employee from a clerk in retail to a corporate worker at a large place. Anyway, the Lionsbridge checked out! So im gonna look into doing some work through them. Apparently, you dont even have to use the phone to work for them at all Roll Call 113

I updated my post with better pay info.
The penny hoarder is a good site. There are several that rate the work from home companies. I used to work for chacha but the pay was too low.
I am definitely pro work from home. I make more than minimum wage working from home in my pajamas.

My brain feels like its been fried in a frying pan and im depressed. I blame not getting enough sleep. But it could also be the diphenhydramine im taking.

Good morning. Slept well. Fell asleep in my chair really early. Had to wake up to put my daughter to bed.
Watching the games today. Can’t wait. Wish I had thought ahead and bought snack foods. This healthier eating is a bummer.
Nothing else planned for the day. Just have to get in the shower. I’m feeling lazy this morning.

I'm getting intrigued by the work from home topic here. I could really use extra money but I don't know when I'll be free again. If I made more money now it would be confiscated by the conservator. Everything sucks so much.

IMO working from home is the way to go if you don’t need benefits.
I’m sorry you are still stuck in there.

I asked my dad kindly to pick up my medication for me since im out. He used it against me saying I definitely dont need to be on my own if i cant pick up my own meds. Its been probably 2 years since i havent picked up my meds. I normally can.

Real tired of dealing with this shyt. I fvcking feel like im being held hostage here. Real fvcking tired of it.

Yeah see I’m covered under my husband so I don’t need them. Independent contracting is the way to go for me. Until tax time then I’m screwed. I have to set myself up as a business so I file separately.

Yeah you don’t pay taxes every paycheck so at the end of the year you have to pay. In our case it’ll eat up our tax refund. Sucks. But if I set myself up I’ll just have to pay it won’t change our tax bracket or eat up the refund. I’ll just have to pay.
