Does anyone know anything about North Carolina? Seriously thinking of moving out there somewhere may take a week trip in the spring.....looking at the major cities Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro/ Triad area.

Been out once to visit Duke area...just looks beautiful and warm. Lots of nature, tired of the city.

I know this may seem not what you want but check out texas as well. Im suggesting texas because i live there. Texas has mountains, plains, forests, lakes, etc. Everything nature-wise that any other state has. Plus big cities. And the big cities, certain ones, are surrounded by nature, like dallas and austin. And its very affordable to live here.

Just throwing that in for you to think about.

My sister just moved back from Austin, very expensive now. Houston used to be nice idk since the hurricane.....I also think it might be too hot for me. Still it’s a beautiful place.

Austin is expensive a bit but its crazy diverse and there’s ALWAYS something to do there since a large portion of people there are college students. They have the best music and art festivals in the country. Literally, not just saying that. Theyve been ranked as having the best. Austin is like a mini California a bit.

Houston. Lots of crime there. Wouldn’t recommend it. Bout the only place in texas i wouldn’t recommend but its cheap and the best medical care is there in the state. Well for cancer and neuro stuff.

San Antonio is great too. Dont know too much about it. Its a big place for hispanic culture.

Dallas/Ft Worth and its surrounding suburbs. Has the best of all those areas in one. Dallas specifically is expensive tho. If you were to move here i’d suggest the suburbs for living financially stable. But then youd also see less diversity in the suburbs. Or i guess it depends which one you move to. You definitely wont see diversity in the rurals of dallas. But dallas county has a good music and art and film culture. Very nice nature stuff. Has a lot of everything to love.

South texas is hot. North texas is still hot, but it meets somewhere in the middle (moderate temp) because its closer to like Oklahoma/kansas.

Dont goto the panhandle.

I can’t sleep. Or rather I woke up at 3am and haven’t been able to get to sleep. Going to stay up for a bit until I’m tired again.

My mind was just really active. Bit of anxiety too.

Have you tried ibuprofen? My mother wears by it for her arthritus... I know there is a surgery for it... I don't mean to scare you, but there is hope in the future if you can't find immediate relief.

I read this at a ******** site, but it seems logical:
Quote:
To eliminate carpal tunnel syndrome and the pain associated with it is to put your wrist at the height that allows your hand and forearm to move together, as nature intended, without special devices, gadgets, or other external solution.
So breaking your wrist when typing can be bad. Also, resting your wrists on anything. It looks like you might want to keep your wrists straight with your hands while you type some how.

You probably know all about this from your doctor visit though...

Every time I don't feel like going somewhere I remind myself that I'll feel better afterwards for going and sometimes you've gotta do things you don't really feel up to doing.
Also, think how easy it is once your there. For me, if im at the library i read. if im at the bar i write. When i'd go to the gym it i would work out. I find that if i can find a place to do my activity, once im there everything just follows automatically. Something about the atmosphere...

My boss said if he had 10 of me he'd never watch the matrix again... We never talked about the Matrix. :/

I work with people that are toxic for my intellectual growth.

Also, my books were "delivered" today. I even got a text message saying they were delivered, but i looked in the box and they weren't there. They weren't at my door step. There was a key in my mail box to open the package door and when i opened it... it was empty. wtf. Did someone steal it?

I swear, whoever stole it is going to be soooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed by my reading selection, and find they'll not have anything in common with C.S. Lewis, or a Christian existentialist, or a female existentialist who drags on about love.

At least all my books didn't come today, so that they all didn't go missing! sigh...

I think I've found the cause of my tiredness..

Severe adrenal fatigue

I match all the symptoms and it scares me.

I'm getting acne again and when I take a stimulant, the acne is gone, everything seems better because it causes the adrenal glands to produce more chemicals to make me awake.

I get weight gain and feel cold tingling around my body like electrical shocks when I'm fatigued.

"The many warning signs of the body continue to be ignored, as most people will rely on more and more stimulants to keep their mood up."

"What separates Stage 3 Adrenal Fatigue from earlier stages, clinically, is that the patient often cannot function smoothly throughout the day, no matter how hard he tries. The productive hours of the day will progressively decrease and it is not unusual for those at this stage of Adrenal Fatigue to have only a few hours of productive time a day, while the rest of the time is spent in bed resting."

"most conventionally trained physicians are still unfamiliar with this condition because it is difficult to diagnose through traditional blood tests. Most patients are sent home with anti-depressants after a short trial of hormonal replacement but this will usually fail."

"For most, Adrenal Fatigue Stage 3C is a wake up call as moderate fatigue may become severe. The decline can be fast and furious and an adrenal crash can occur in a matter of hours. One can be bedridden for days, with slow recovery".

"Eventually, the adrenals will become totally exhausted. Patients at this stage will have a high chance of cardiovascular collapse and death."

I hope this is hypochondriasis but at the same time it's really slow progressing so it makes me think it's true.

Why would you rule out negative symptoms of sz which you have and jump to this new Dx?

What would you like to know?
Asheville is a very nice liberal area in the mountains . I love it . But housing is getting ridiculous so locals are forced to towns around Asheville

Charlotte is a nice city but there is major crime problems. And traffic issues

My sister lives in Durham where duke and chapel hill are. Durham is pretty cool. It's just flat though, no mountains. Raleigh I haven't been to much but it's the major city near Durham. Greensboro is nice, mainly a college town for UNCG.

Seems you're looking more at the piedmont area

If you visit I strongly suggest stopping in Asheville though
