I agree with Blue_Bird as well. It gets you going and grows your responsibilities to move forward with work. I'm doing band but its not just for fun. It's quite serious and aims at getting me and others there responsible and working with other people. Gives us goals, deadlines, etc. Sometimes these things are difficult. But they often have fruitful results if we stick to it. I do understand the difficulty of distance and driving. When I was PHP I was driving for 30 minutes one way to my meetings that lasted 6 hours and were 5 days a week.

This month is really not my month. Got food poisoning, not long after it healed now I got a bad flu. I’m depressed as well. My C-PTSD symptoms been worse lately. The fiancé is getting me an online therapist. First conference call is sometime this week. He’ll be there with me because I don’t feel safe talking to a stranger just by myself, also I will need an interpreter as my speaking is awful when I’m nervous. Times like this make me think that he deserves a better woman

ugh phoned two crisis lines this morning then fell back to sleep woke up even more exhausted its ridiculous.

Now this guy in my building won't shut up he says he has no one to talk to well i bet you thats because if you talk about things that happened like 3 years ago its like no one really wants to listen to you.

I am annoyed i want to be nice but i also don't want to be mean either so i allow him to talk. ugh a double edged sword.

I'm okay today. Had band. We went over music theory this morning and rhythms. Reading music sheets and what not. I did not do well. But then I quickly realised other people were struggling with it too (even the drummer! and he does well in this band), and I didn't feel so bad. No real practice outside of a 10 minute jam a couple singers and I did. Otherwise it was another group practicing for the afternoon. They've got a gig coming up in 4 days so they gotta prepare for that.

Otherwise my knee if bothering me. Not good. Hopefully it doesn't get worse or I'll have to ask my wife for rides to practice.

What's everyone up to?

Hey guys. Finished working for the day. No nap though. My son is home. He forgot a book and was going to get a Saturday for it so I dismissed him and instead of bringing him back with the book I let him stay home. Bad parenting 101.

I'm sorry this has been a bad month for you. I hope things go okay with the online therapist. I can assure you that you mean a lot to your fiance. He wouldn't be there through all the good and bad times if he wasn't. My wife and partner taught me that love is unconditional. Even in the darkest their love never budged. I believe your fiance is very similar to them from what you have told me.

got offered a full time position at the community co-op

she said she knew she said she'd call on Friday after another interview but they really want me so she called today

I accepted and I start next Monday ☺☺

I have to go soon unless the ride doesn't come. It took three tries to make it to the dentist since March or whatever. I don't know what this appointment is for.

My lip is numb. I don't know what happened to it. Bit it but would that make it numb? My headphones are slightly broken. I have to remember to ask maintenance if they have super glue.

Having to hide my financial situation from people is stressful. I cannot wait until the day I am off disability. It would be a huge relief not to have to hide. I'm starting the process right now. My goal is to be completely off it by fall 2020.

I just got back inside from taking my medicine too. My anxiety has been pinging too.

I'm sorry your anxiety is bad too. I don't know the story on my Ativan. When I ask for one they always say I can't have it.

But this numbness is freaking me out. The opthalmologist cancelled me for today so that's a relief. But I'm scared my face will get gangrene from lack of circulation.
