I find benzos are great if you only take them as needed. But once your doctor tries to stop panic attacks that can occur at any time, and gives you a maintenance dose of something like 3mgs a day at different intervals, the physical addiction/withdrawals are just a matter of time. I've been on benzos for 4.5 years now. I haven't had a problem yet. (knock on wood).

I was on them for 4 years too

I had a bad experience when a doctor prescribed a bottle of 120 Klonopins when I was 16. I didn't know what benzos were.

I feel like something bad is going to happen

well when they trialed abilify they thought it would treat psychosis so it got the AP label. but it was found to be effective in mood stabilization and also an augmentation to anti depressants.

many meds help with other things than they were originally made for

for example seroquel.... AP but is used at low doses for sleep

the SSA deposited my disability check this morning

I am confused

but. I'm gonna take it cause now I can pay my rent

however by my maths I've calculated that I've taken approximately $16,000 in over payments from the SSA

so if/when they find out... I'll prob be going to prison. lol

I wish someone would overpay me by $16000 lol.
When my brother in law died he got a bill for $25000 in overpayments from SSA.
How do they make these kinds of mistakes?

it's the only way I've been able to survive and pay rent and bills
