I used to read a lot but now I hardly ever do. Stupid stinking depression. Makes me not want to do anything I enjoy(ed). Kit.

I’m just too lazy to read. I watch a lot of tv and can’t stay up late anymore so there are only so many hours in a day.

I love reading but don't get as many books read as I used to. I used to go through huge books in a day. I have trouble focusing for long enough now, it drives me crazy. I'm trying to improve my concentration

My doctor thinks I’m having a depressive episode. He wants me to do CBT Roll Call 139 I know I know.

Also told me to eat. I’m trying...

Says if I feel worse to come back and we can try some meds to add to my regime.

‘Tis the season...

Uhhh yeah I feel the same way about cbt and just about any other kind of therapy.
I’m sorry he didn’t suggest a med to try. I think of how much I suffered without Zoloft. Makes me physically ill.

Hey everyone, how are things going today?

I'm okay. Been an up and down kind of day. Earlier part I was extremely tired and worn out. Went out and ate lunch at Subway and got some stuff done. Didn't do much for a few hours. Then in the evening voices and spirits started visiting me and making life a little stressful...I asked my wife if we could early to the store as originally planned, to try and give me a distraction from the voices. It helped partially.

I'm holding off on going back to band until Friday. Band leader was totally understanding and he said its important I go at my own pace and come back when I am ready. I should be okay Friday. Should be. Hope so. I miss everyone there.

What's everyone up to?
Thanks for this!

He doesn’t want to fck with my med regime if it’s just a temporary depressive episode. I mean I can understand. I just uggggh he just wants me to do one CBT thing. I rolled my eyes but said I would try. I have to try even if I don’t like it.

That makes some sense. I just feel like depression is brushed under the rock too much.
Good luck with cbt. Lots of people find it helpful.

CBT has worked really well for me, DBT too. Had to find the right therapist, though.

I guess I never really gave it a fair shot. When I did cbt it was after my 1st hospitalization and I literary cried through every session. She was never able to focus me on the therapy. I’d just sit there and cry or ignore her completely.

Just verified with my bestest that she’ll let me smoke weed and carry a gun to her wedding Roll Call 139
No ****...she wants me to perform her ceremony Roll Call 139. I’d have to do some online course. I told her I’d wear a tux and be her best man instead.

I've hated all my therapists before recently, so I didn't give it a fair shot either.

Glad you found a good one.
I just struggle with “sharing”. I’m very embarrassed by my weaknesses and inability to handle things like my mom did.
I’m much better at anonymous forum posting. I’m able to share without shame because none of you knew me as the strong head of my entire family. I took care of everyone. I don’t have to see the pity eyes.

I suck at being vulnerable and I've worked on that too.
