Going grocery Roll Call 142!
Dressed like a freak with my hair in braids Roll Call 142!. I’ve reached a new level of IDGAF what you think of me. Took me 44 years but I’m kinda digging it.
Need fruit bad. I’ve been out for a couple days.
I have a free paycheck next week so I may make the trip to Trader Joe’s and the farmers market to stock up stuff.
Or I may get one of my kids in for contacts. They both want to ditch the glasses.

I would like to write a book coupled with self-help and philosophy.

Idk how that will work.

But lets see. I need to do some research.

DT? Any thoughts?

Just spent 2 1/2 hours overhauling the cable management in my computer. Not fun but I am a highly detailed person in my approach to these things. I was very happy with the final result.

Problem? I feel invincible, and like I don't need sleep. Only ever so mildly sleepy and I've been for quite a while... hmm. I realized I spent time in the same room as my wife and she had the sun lamp on again.

I am very tired. I hardly slept last night. Too hot, too cold, not comfy, My head was quiet but my body wouldn’t relax. I think my final time check was around 3. I probably should have taken an ambien but I’ve been on a roll not needing them.
Family is watching a scary movie. It’s kinda freaking me out. Why can’t they watch Disney movies lol

I’m in bed. Hoping to sleep tonight and late in the morning. I am completely wiped out.
My BLTA croissant was pretty good. Ate 1/2 and saved the rest for tomorrow. Fun fact...when you order take out from Red Robin they bring you a travel cup of fries!

A lot of self-help is philosophical. Virtue ethics is about creating better habits that aren't vice, but that follow the golden mean, the point between deficiency and excess. Like for courage, its the balance between cowardice and recklessness. This is Aristotle, and he talks about how the ends of our actions is always aimed at a complete flourishing happiness, or ought to at least. This is in Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics.

Also, philosophy is good at framing behavior. For instance, the reason we do evil, for Plato, is that we are ignorant of something. All vice is done out of ignorance, which I think is a very humanistic thought. I think reading plato's Protagoras is a good beginning for virtue, or his Meno too. After Virtue is also a good book that is contemporary.

There's a new thing happening in philosophy, it's called philosophical counseling. Largely its reading books with people who want to see the world differently through the eyes of the great thinkers in order to go through life wondering about the mysteries of it.It's a really interesting thought. Its like psychology but with a bigger picture.

The power is out. Me, my mom and my sister have our phones plugged into our computers with candles.

It's nice being in the dark. Right when I get hypomanias. Too much light is bad.

Anyways, I feel really mentally stable. Mood wise and cognitively.

Sleep well @ insomniacs..

Good morning everyone. How are things going?

I am doing well. Just a little sleepy. Had breakfast and coffee. Not really got much planned for the day. Got my computer rewired and cable management done last night.

What's everyone up to?
Thanks for this!

Morning! Happy Sunday.
Nothing really planned for the day. Probably going to make a couple soups for the week and maybe a carrot cake.
I threw up this morning. First time in over a week. Last night I had 1/2 of a BLTA...guess I won’t be eating the other half.

I had a crazy dream that a.girl I don't like here kept trying to ask me things or something. And she was saying my name. Anyway I started saying "what do you want from me?!" And the aide was in here calling my name, saying she brought my lunch.

Haha, so embarrassing.

I wonder if they have pizza in the dining room. Probably not. Refreshments probably means cheese balls and pop. I'm really thirsty now.
