Hi Findingreason...things are okay. Just waiting out the four hours at work and then it's the weekend. That's always nice. I'm glad that band seems to be going well right now. I hope it continues! HUGS Kit

Thank you, Loial! What do you think of the Cleito tank?
Yeah it’s worked well for me. Coils can last up to two weeks with heavy vaping. I use a 0.4ohm coil and vape at 45W.

Oh cool, ok. Well what I'll do is ask if I can go through my vape stuff in the lobby and fill the tank really early so it will have about 45 minutes of sitting up on the table. I think I will also squeeze some juice on to the cotton or whatever it is, without flooding the coil or whatever.

I love the looks of the little tank that came with my Voopoo kit, but I had so many dry hits from that I'm afraid to try it again for awhile.

I am lucky you have experience with the Cleito.

When I went to CVS today they gave me 2 scripts that were there waiting plus my sons. I had been there 35 minutes by this point and was a little exasperated. I took my scripts and walked away. Got to the front register and saw that they had auto filled a script for a med my doc got rid of. I walk back to the pharmacy and they tried telling me they wouldn’t take it back. Roll Call 143
I relatively calmly told them I hadn’t even left the premises and although I should have looked at it they were the ones that auto filled a cancelled script.
Thankfully the good pharmacist came back from break and ok’d it.
I was pissed. Seriously...it’s not like it was opened. I was literally 15 feet away from the pharmacy counter.

Weird that CVS couldn't take it back. I had them call me once and said they made a mistake and gave me too many Vyvanse pills and that I needed to come in so they could fix it. I think it was CYA. Because I didn't think they could take back meds either. But they did. I hadn't opened it either, but it was like the next day after I had picked up the script. And this was CVS also. Kit

i need an eye exam and i do love my eye place but i have been getting my glasses from zenni i can get 4-5 pair for the price it costs me thru the eye doctor. not to say that i wouldn't like to get my glasses at the eye doctor but it saves me so much money and i have gotten some nice looking glasses from zenni. I use a progressive lens and got transitions too and the whole bill for the glasses with rimless frames and roll and polish on the lens was 141 usd

Take care and warm regards, Tams
I haven't been showering often either (1x a week) but I always feel better after bc I am clean. I have flashbacks in the shower and sometimes I have to get out before I'm done. because it is too much

Looks like I won’t get a med change.....I believe he’ll would have to freeze over for this pdoc to change my meds but at the same time I do appreciate her expertise.

Hi Sometimes psychotic, did you want to add or subtract meds? It's tough when we feel we need x, y, or z but the professional doesn't. HUGS Kit

Is there a specific reason you wanted to change. You’ve seemed pretty stable on Abilify and I know that’s what most pdocs take into account...

Ah okay. How much weight have you gained if you don’t mind me asking?

I think cognitive issues suck but I suspect they are rife over most of the APs. Also hard to know how much of it might be the illness...

It’s always a case of weighing the positives with the negatives. I know that all too well. I’m very thankful I am able to try going of APs again but I do recognise there were some benefits.

Possible trigger:

I understand your concern. I gained 50lb in 2 years then it’s been pretty consistent.

I guess there are things like activity level and stuff that can influence that over many years. I’ve certainly been largely sedentary over the past few years bar a few months.

It also depends on meds, zyprexa is the worst....
I think the problem for me isn’t weight gain as much as inability to lose weight. Off meds I’d gain a couple pounds over the holidays then diet one week and lose it all. On meds I gain five but can’t lose any with a month of diet. If I do hold on the diet long enough to lose I regain all plus more as soon as I stop dieting. It’s not like I eat terribly.

My dad was concerned by how tired I was today. He said to take the Concerta and I didn't want to but he said that people at work can't be looking at me like that. And it's true it looks and feels around me like my soul has died. A woman looked at me as I walked in the door at work and it looked at if she despised me and hated me for the way I looked and felt. So I took the Concerta at work with the beta blocker.

I don't want to take the Concerta but I have responsibilities and need to function. I'm going to ask my doctor on Tuesday to switch to Ritalin 10mg 3x a day because the Concerta 54mg releases too much methylphenidate for such a short amount of time. Or Vyvanse 30mg just enough for me to function because 40mg is too much.

I see my therapist on the 7th and I don't know what to say to her. I left her a voice message saying the Concerta gives me heart palpitations before I go to sleep when I take it too late in the day and I don't want to take it anymore.

I also want to make an appointment with my psychiatrist so I can lower the injection because I'm not even slightly psychotic anymore. I want to be trusted with pills and not injections because I was immature before and always stopped my meds.

I just want help but no one listens to me. I want to play by the rules now but I might as well just give up if they don't listen to me at this point. Give up on working. Give up on studying. But then what do I do? I'll be useless to myself.

I feel like some unknown force or God is giving me anxiety to punish me or something or that demons are torturing me. I feel like they want to kill me and I won't make it past 30. I feel like the government is using energy weapons to control my heart beat or that doctors are spies working for the people that are making my heart beat fast without beta blockers. Like it's all a set up and I'm being a fool. I feel like I'm more important to the world than I really am so spirits and aliens and everything is leading me to some destiny and I want it all to go away and for them to **** off.

Does anyone else know anything about Latuda?

I love latuda.
Dropped the 40+ lbs I’d gained on Zyprexa within months.

I'd give Latuda a try if I had the insurance to get it. When I went on risperdone I gained 50lbs and then changed to goedon and lost 45lbs.
Thanks for this!

I asked for Geodon but she felt it was more sedating and still had weight gain.
