Hi my name is Jolisse and have been on this site for six years. I would like to re-introduce myself.
Although I don't suffer from schizophrenia, I do suffer from severe mental illness. I would like to join this group, hoping it will help me.
Thanks for this!

Nothing works. I've tried dozens of things. I have a chiari 1 malformation in my brain.

Man

I'm just so proud of myself for living away from home this whole past year (almost). I couldn't have done it without fiance. Hes so level headed. Definitely the better part of me. Not saying I'm not level headed, but I'm not completely wise. Idk he isnt too for some things lol.

I was just thinking about how psychosis completely changed my brain in the past 5 years or so. Its crazy.

Being into all things artsy when I was a teen. Acting, music, dancing, drawing etc whatever. And then getting sick and being into philosophy, science, health etc. Although I am starting to retain my artsy side back. Thank god.

Have you tried running? My cousin used to use running for GAD, of course she ways into ultra running so she probably outlasted the anxiety.

I run for short periods. But I'm gonna be honest, I'm too out of shape to run for long periods of time.

Could this be coming from Geodon withdrawal? It sounds like it might be. My roommate had a similar problem with it. What would really help is gabapentin. The sedation goes away but it still works for migraines.

Update #2 with online dating:

Okay, I don't know what I did, or what's up, but yesterday I had 4 women respond to either just my profile or me messaging them. I'm 37 and looking for women 32-42. One woman says she's a poet, I was hoping she would respond, she's 42, which I guess makes her a cougar. =) I like to be the prey lol The only thing that makes me question my profile is that I didn't get into paintiong and drywall as what pays my bills. I went into writing though. I hope they can see it as it just as an active passion of mine. My roommate went onto my profile and tightened some screws and bolts for me.

All in all, things are good!
Thanks for this!

It's ok. I'm just wondering 2 things. Why would it be a geodon withdrawal if I take it twice a day? Also, I have had these 3 day migraines for maybe 10 years. What I wonder is, yes they are most likely from the chiari malformation, but I'ma goto a doctor to find out more. The neurologist I saw couldn't say yes or no to the thing in my brain being the cause. Which is so stupid. Like wasted money, if you cant even tell me what the fluck is causing my 3 day migraines.

Anyway, I'm thinking it WAS my chiari 1 coupled with the fact that I have my head down so much on my phone. And the chiari is in the back of head. On the base of my cerebellum and beginning of my spinal cord. Cuz yesterday I popped my neck and it went away for a few hours. But I went back on my phone and it got bad again. I also have costochondritis and a dowager's hump on my back, all apparently from being on my phone. So the doctor says.

I think it's good that u posted about the writing. And also seeing a woman who is a poet. Make sure whoever u date tho is ok with you spending a lot or most of your time writing. My fiance said he liked to play video games in his free time. But he didnt tell that, well, it's basically ALL he does. I was very unhappy for awhile because I couldn't get time with him cuz he literally plays games like it's his job. But I'm learning to be ok with it.
