Doctor said abilify isn’t sedating or activating. So I’ve been taking it at night. But I notice I’ve been sleeping less and needing less sleep. I fell asleep around 11pm last night, woke up several times during the night, then got up like no big deal at 5am.

So just in case it is the abilify I’m going to start taking it on the mornings. If my sleep doesn’t improve or gets worse then I might have to consider going back to the doctor.

I don’t want to be put on anything for sleep. Seroquel was awful I felt so groggy. It helped everything else except left me groggy.

Maybe I’ll just live with less sleep. I used to be able to go 3-4 hours a night like nothing.
I found abilify to be activating initially like I’d be running through the house, it was weird. No matter what the docs say we all have a different response to meds so trust your instincts.

I did a maybe dumb thing. Over the weekend, I decided to stop taking my AD and my AP. My reasoning was if I am feeling this bad on the medication, why am I taking it? Seems like solid reasoning. So I stopped taking it. Really didn't notice anything until today. Today though I came to work and got super stressed because the engineer quit. So I had to take some anti-anxiety meds. Now I'm worried that by not taking my other medication I really messed up and am going to end up deeper in the hole than I was before. I don't know whether to restart the medication or just see what happens. I never do this. I always take my medications. But I've been on it for so long I felt like my brain needed a reset. My fingers feel twitchy today and I feel sort of not good but I don't know if that is not having the medicine or that is just me. I was having visual hallucinations yesterday when I wasn't on the AP. But I have them if I am on the AP too. I know I should try to see my PDOC sooner but I am afraid to make the call. IDK what is going on with me. I feel like maybe I am having a break down.

Yeah he said I could try either night or day but he wants me to keep an eye on my sleep because it’s been an issue in the past.

I forced myself to call my PDOC's office and I got an appointment tomorrow night at 5:30 PM. So I don't know if I should take the medicine or not take the medicine but at least I'll see him soon. Now I just have to get through two days of work.

Same. I was shouting and screaming, ready to pack my bags 5-10 times and leave the psychiatric part of the physical hospital, pointing at my psychiatrist and the look on his face was full of dread.

I can't believe I did that. He sent me to the real psych ward.

I’ve never been confrontation with my crazy. I’ve always been quiet about it. Even when I thought people were poisoning me or our to get me I would never accuse them directly. I guess that’s why I got away with being psychotic for so long lol.

I have a headache that is pretty bad and I'm not concentrating worth crap. I'm trying to work but I'm doing a poor job at it. I'm not sure. Maybe I should take tomorrow off of work because of the PDOC appointment but maybe having something to do will be better because I'll be more focused. Maybe. I'm not focused today. And there's a weird beeping noise on repeat. IDK what to do about that. I just want to lay down.

I've been having some issues with hearing spirits again the past couple days. I think things will be okay though, just learning ways to distract and cope

Yeah, I got a notification today from the pharmacy via text that they're available and I was going there today anyway so I figured I'd just go ahead and get it
