The thyroid produces pretty important hormones. If you have low thyroid, I do think you should take the med for it.

I mean you have a good personality so people are more likely to treat you well. It’s always been an asset even when you were sick like five years ago....

Yes. Plus the thyroid medicine i was given was given by a holistic doctor. So it's not a typical thyroid med. It's basically vitamins.

Really? Wow...I never thought about that. Because my mom says I'm too negative and people wont want to be around me ever.

I wouldn’t personally, there’s always a trade off...I believe too much causes heart rhythm irregularities. Find a way to target the depression....I think your therapist can help you with this last little bit.

Also my pdoc raised my zoloft 50mg more. But I havent started it yet because my prepacks only have the 150mg in them. If I open up the others, I will be out, plus it will confuse me.

Maybe don't listen to everything your Mom says @newtus I don't mean be disrespectful, just don't take everything in that she says. My Mom has bipolar and she tends to be really irritable and crabby (I don't think her meds are totally right though she is way better with the meds that she is on then without meds at all) and she tends to be pretty nit-picky with me. I try to just let it slide off my back and not get stuck in my head. Life is too short.

One of the standard thyroid med is derived from pigs so it sounds like it’s legit.

I'm sorry you are feeling sick @Blue_Bird. What does it feel like to have your brain fall out? Is your head hurting you? I sometimes feel like my brain is far heavier on the right side of my head than the left and when I get dissociated my head tends to fall in that direction. Don't know if that makes sense either but it is what it is.

HUGS @Blue_Bird. Try to trust that your meds haven't been poisoned. I know it is hard because it can be so compelling to believe it. I'm so sorry you are feeling scared. Can you do something nice for yourself like get into bed, with a nice cup of tea, and curl up with a blanket and a good book, or work on a new drawing? It might help to get a little distracted...Try to remember that you are safe. HUGS to you my friend. Kit

I edited to say one of them. I know there’s a couple kinds. They don’t use the pig one that often anymore at least in Canada. It’s like super old school. Usually they use the synthetic stuff.

Always best to do research on things before you use them. Don’t want to **** up your thyroid that **** is hard to fix once it’s broken.
Thanks for this!

Thanks Kit , I appreciate it. I'm laying down with one of my cats now. I just have been laughing for no reason and on the verge of crying at the same time, so I'm not really sure what's up.
