Actually I tried to
Possible trigger:
but y'know, whatever, I made it. I should have gone to the hospital. I told my T I had a plan and everything. But she was like, do whatever you have to do to make it through the weekend. So I was basically sick all day Friday and part of Saturday. But I did go see Frozen 2 yesterday with my parents. I really liked the music and the story line. I think I like Frozen 1 better but Frozen 2 is still good. I'm fighting apathy at the moment. I'm trying to clean my office at work but I don't care. So I got the file cabinet 3/4ths of the way cleaned out and tomorrow I will work on reorganizing it. I see T on Wednesday. So I'll tell her about the thing I did on Thanksgiving night. I haven't told anyone IRL just here on PC. I feel kind of stupid about it now but oh well. HUGS all Kit

Oh and we got snow on Thanksgiving, which is like a miracle. I live in the desert, it doesn't snow here often. Sometimes not for years. But it snowed on Thanksgiving. That was pretty cool I have to admit.

Oh and I did manage to do a bit of shopping for Christmas on Saturday and Sunday even though I felt like crap. I got one present wrapped for my friend that I have to mail her gift to her. I'm going to try to go to the post office today to do that. HUGS Kit

I'm so sorry to hear that but am glad you're still here. Your therapist should have intervened more especially if you told her you had a plan

I've never been on an injectable medicine so pardon my ignorance.....is it smoother? Or does it sort of taper out at the end when you are ready for another dose? I wish I could take my meds by injection. It would be so much easier than remembering them every day.

@Desoxyn might know more than me, since they're on the Invega injection, but I believe it does kinda taper out by the end.

I've been on injections before, I was on the Invega injection for a long time, it tapers out at the end which is why I had to get mine every 3 weeks instead of every 4

@falcon.. Make sure to find the best antipsychotic med then stick to only one. 1-2 years and you brain will smoothen out like mine (Cuz we're under 25). Our brains are still developing and now is the best time to stabilize ourselves.

Injections are smoother in a way cuz the chemical releases in the night time and day time instead of just the day time but the concentration in the blood decreases at the end of the month.

It also increases in blood concentration a few days after the injection is given which is why I'm complaining about being a zombie right now!!!

My psychiatrist wants me to get blood work (just routine) and I'm terrified that something horrible will be found even though I'm not having any problems

I had my blood tested and they found out my cholesterol was way high, so now I'm taking a med for that.

Not the last time, but the time before that mine was high so the doctor put me on some sort of statin, but then last time she said it had come down too much. IDK. She said she might take me off the statin next time she sees me if it is too low.

Yeah, I was thinking about asking my PCP to do blood work to make sure I hadn't messed up my kidneys or something but I don't know. I'm feeling mostly better now. Not great, but not as bad as I was then. HUGS Kit.
