Yea, I’m not for sure. I ask him often if he’s been drinking, usually on his day off, and he’s always, always said no even when he was. Even said no this past Wednesday and I saw him drinking through the Ring.

I told him he needs to take a nap. I think he will. Sucks.

Wow I’ve been back on this forum for almost five years now that crazy. I was on here for a while under a different ID before that but deleted and disappeared. I can’t even remember what my old ID was.

Listening to good podcasts this morning. Not much motivation for school... I think I need to wait until the new meds kick in...

I know he’s very, very lonely there. Said no one visited him on Father’s Day. Only reason i didn’t was cuz my tags. So sad. So sad that he’s there all alone. This is why I spend time with him on holidays for a long, long time. My mom got mad because we didn’t come over last Christmas and I told her straight up I needed to be with my dad or he’d be alone for Christmas.

Busy day today, group therapy, individual therapy, and I see the psychiatrist at PHP

Oh I do have a doctors appointment on Tuesday. That’s another thing. Just a regular check in via phone.

My family...idk. I’m sick of asking my sister to call him to check on him. My mom says my sister is a very busy person. I cringe now when people say they are “busy”. Unless they really are. I’ve been told by people that they are busy for their reasoning about why they haven’t called or texted in weeks or months. I just don’t believe some people to be that busy that they can’t call or text someone for 15 min or less.

I hate to say this but I don’t believe my sister in that way. I rarely hear from her. Maybe a couple times a month. I text her and all she replies with is a thumbs up or a heart usually. My mom says she’s a very busy person with her business and child. Someone isn’t that busy tho that they can’t make a phone call at least every 2 weeks, especially to their parent. Especially if their parent isn’t doing well.

I’m the only one of my dads kids that call him everyday. Never been one to talk bad about my sister but this irks me. Rubs me the wrong way. It’s all about priorities. And if my sis can get on a plane to go visit her husbands family for a week every month, she surely can call her dad for 15 min every couple weeks at the least. Even my mom has been mad at her for not calling her.

It’s priorities and hers is not with her own family. My mom can’t accept that. I can for the most part. I haven’t called my mom in like 5 days. That’s for other reasons. All my sis has been doing is sending him obscure vitamins. Which he’s not interested in but won’t say it. Just sending vitamins every once and awhile isn’t gonna cut it.

*Sorry this is so long. There’s specific things I never talk about here or with anyone, but for the reason that i feel it isn’t important but subconsciously i know it is. For me, at least.*

Even when I was working and doing all the stuff I was before March, I made it a priority to keep in touch with my parents. It’s about priorities.

About to be doing homework, probably all day....

Feeling tired today and a little sad. IDK. Just am.

Talked to a couple of friends last night and this morning about my feelings about the hospitalization. Got some good responses. Don't feel as alone now.

Gonna have bbq hot dogs for lunch at work today and cake at two o'clock. We celebrate the birthdays for the month at the last Friday of the month so yeah, this one's for me!

Taking a break due to storms but at least I got the assessment done....now for discussion which is pretty light this week....
