I wish I could just eat my feelings and feel better. But nooo my default when I’m down is to starve myself.

Kind of mad about the Latuda being exorbitantly expensive. Oh well. I guess I'll figure something else out with the psychiatrist.

So this is when you need to find stuff that would have interested you a week ago but you’ll need to force yourself to do it. Helps to have an amazon list or even a self care box of stuff you used to enjoy.

Also I am loving Pandora right now for music. Cause it introduces me to new stuff I like.

Idk about latuda but sometimes the drug companies have special cards for discount prices. When Abilify was like 500-1000 you could get it for 25 with a card.

My psychologist had suggested to me a self care list a while ago but my mind was too busy and distracted to actually do it. Go figure.

Yeah, I downloaded one of those, and it was still gonna be $949 or something like that. I think what needs to happen is my doctor needs to give them a prior authorization or something. Then maybe it will be affordable? I don't know. It seems like a perfect drug for me. So I was pretty hopeful about starting it.

Was about to say food is one of your things that you truly enjoy so why not plan something special for dinner tomorrow either to cook or curbside pickup. Enjoy it with your favorite music or conversation.

Prior authorization isn’t too bad as in it only involves your doc and you don’t have to do anything really.

Sometimes you just have to force yourself to do things on said list.

I have such a list.

I forced myself to use four coping strategies today: walking outside, exercise, driving, and listening to comedy.

Some days it doesn't make me feel amazing (I hardly ever feel amazing these days) but at least it keeps me above water.

So just to be clear I don’t mean good rx or anything like that I mean something from the pharmaceutical co itself.

This one? If your insurance covers it you’ll only have to pay $15 even if your insurance wants you to pay up to $400. But you have to have insurance pay part. It’s doable with prior auth.

You seemed excited by the pizza so maybe it worked a little? Thing with food is mixed emotions. I know you also like music maybe you could plan to goto something live after covid? See what’s out there or even get something streaming in concert.

Yeah, that's the one. I was getting distraught but I think I just need my doc to call for prior auth. Makes sense now.

Yeah this is what did with Abilify years ago....I was convinced I wouldn’t get it but it’s basically a matter of your pdoc saying look she’s tried x number of APs and either they don’t work or side effects are debilitating. Usually you only need to have tried two.

My sister gave me a bunch of clementines so I'm gonna try incorporating them into some of my smoothies.

Just listening to some shoegaze on Pandora. It's good music. My brain is still messed up though. Hopefully tomorrow my pdoc will get the prior authorization stuff sorted out and I'll be able to take Latuda.
