Yeah, Helen is active in the morning. And then she takes a long cat nap until about 3 PM when I come home from work. Then she is alternating between energy and napping from 3 to 8. Then she has another hyper spell. She will race from one end of the house to the other. She slides on the wood floors and on the rug in my bathroom. It's really funny. I also got her this toy from Chewy where it has three balls on a little round track. She loves playing with it. At first she didn't seem to know what to do with it but now she "attacks" it every day a few times a day. She is bound and determined to get those balls off the track! If I can find it on the website I will post a link. It wasn't very much. I think around $10. Best cat toy ever. She loves it.

This is the cat tree I got Helen. She loves this too. She takes her naps on it.

The cat tree was a pain to put together though.

She likes it a lot, I can sometimes hear her attacking it when I'm in my room, she likes to get on top of it, I often have to flip it over because she knocks it down a lot because she plays rough lol

That looks like a nice cat tree, I need to get one for stash eventually too, I bet she'd love it

OH, I am sure she would love it!

Amelia who is mostly an outside cat (by her own liking, she can come inside through the doggy doors but she likes to stay outside) will get her cat tree back now that I got one for Helen. But with her being outside, Amelia has lots of places to climb. We have three beds for her too. Two outside. And one inside the garage, well protected from the weather.

Cool. Looks basically the same! Helen doesn't really do much with the butterfly. Half of the time hers is upside down too because she knocks it over. But she can get it back upright by herself. We will sometimes turn it over for her but she will turn it over herself if we don't get to it quick enough.

I'm making a protein smoothie later tonight for dinner. I haven't used my blender in a couple months because of having no motivation and being depressed and not feeling like bothering with it. I used to use it several times a week. I'm forcing myself to start doing things I used to do

I got my blood test back and it shows that I am quite a bit low in Iron Saturation. I don't know if this means I am anemic but it might explain some of my depression. I called my Dr's office to see if I need to take a supplement but I probably will not hear back today. My result says 8 and the reference interval is 15-55. Kinda explains why I couldn't donate blood last time. I had to ask for this test though. She never runs a CBC, Iron Test. Always does the A1C and Cholesterol ones.

I just took my night meds. I almost choked on them because I was so nervous/shaky when taking them because of my fear of them being poisoned

I probably shouldn't have taken them, now I'm gonna be up all night worrying that they're gonna kill me

I'm trying my best to stick with them even though I'm afraid of them, I haven't missed any doses of meds since Friday, I've taken my meds 3 times a day every day since then

I'm just gonna stay up tonight, I need to get on the treadmill early in the morning anyway

I'm starting to get really self conscious about my age. I don't know why. I'm 27,turn 28 in June. I just feel sad when I see people who are younger than me because so much of my life was wasted and I wish I could go back and fix it.

I feel like garbage - I definitely should not have taken the full dose of Klonopin today and I did. It's so addictive.

Does anyone know any ways of combatting anxiety that are not Klonopin? Ha.

Exercise, journaling. Playing an instrument, art, playing with a pet, listening to music. Those are the main things that help me and enable me to take the Klonopin for only emergencies without getting dependant and taking it every day

Thank you! I need to do those things instead of taking more Klonopin. I just really need to get off of it. I absolutely need to get off of it.

I used to be more dependent on it a long time ago (never addicted, but just used it more often than I should probably have, more reliant on that than coping skills) but over the years I developed a lot of self discipline and am strict with myself with it. Which is unusual because I have like no self-discipline in other areas in my life. Maybe because my mom was an alcoholic and my father was into drugs. I don't want to get addicted to substances like that so I stay away from them and have more motivation to do so which is why I'm super careful with it. I used to experiment with alcohol and getting high on some things a bit as a teenager but I stopped that after a scary experience. I know substance abuse problems run in families and I don't want to live like they did.
